KazuoKiroyama Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 I wonder if it's possible to add new hair via FO4Edit and to make them work in game already. I've seen many great working new mods including Caliente's body and it made me curious if there are any hair mods being in the works.
LeFlemard Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 A modder could make it work, but it would take far longer for him than just waiting for the geck release, with which he/she can do it in a flash.

akbaa Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 I am pretty sure, new hairs could easily be added with FO4Edit Look at this for example : http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/977/? While these are all vanilla hairs, it clearly adds new variations of these hairs as well. The way I understand is, is that we need to wait for 3DStudio Max Nifskope plugins for entirely new/Skyrim hairs to be added. Fortunately, that has nothing to do with the Creation Kit Also, it seems as if the KS Hairdos creator has already gotten permission to release them for Fallout 4. http://stealthic.tumblr.com/post/134442450653/have-you-gotten-permission-from-those-creators-to On the Nexus, the creator doesn't seem to answer any questions regarding the conversion to Fallout 4 though..
Phnx Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 Did someone ask for new hair?! http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/6118
junty Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 Did someone ask for new hair?! http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/6118 That one is also in this mod (for females) http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/977/? Someone said in the comments it's the exact same mod. Except the other one also has more varieties of hairs. I would still say this one is my favourite out of all of them though.

I saw that mod once but that was when it still only had male hairstyles. I didn't follow it so I couldn't possibly have known about that. Whatever. I've updated mine and added a few new hairstyles and I'm going to do so until I run out of ideas. It's a little more unique now.

It's probably my favourite hair mod along with Vivid colours. Off topic a bit, do you or anyone else think it might be cool to have a thread of minor mods like in the Skyrim thread?

This is awesome! Can you give me a guide to how port them from Skyrim to FO4? I wanted a particular hairstyle as well.

invalidfate Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 The author rejected my request, he wants to port by himself. I only get a permission to publish this already-made hair style. Anyone knows other hairs without the need of requesting port permission?

Witcher and Tera hairs come to mind since those can be posted on the Nexus without hassle. You might produce better mods by porting Sims hairs and just hosting them here though.

laughingfox Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 If possible, could you fling a rough guide out here as to how you ported over the hairs with physics still attached to 'em? I assume through Outfit studio, but the specifics are alluding me. You know the old expression--feed a man a fish, he'll be full for a day, teach him how to fish, he'll be full forever-- something like that.
KazuoKiroyama Posted January 4, 2016 Author Posted January 4, 2016 I really want to import the hairs that I like but I have no idea what to do. My attempts in Nifskope and Outfit Studio were kinda meh.
