You know, this Monster:

Wanna do this as a Mod for Fallout.

Currently in the process of creating a reference sheet and other stuff,
like the writing on the side.

Very hard to find good pics, if you find some there are many differences between each.
I am trying to create a good mashup. If you think a feature of the guns has to be there/removed/edited, let me know.
Pistol Grip is hidden behind fingers/hand 95% of the images too....


Have some pics:
Newest layout done in AutoCAD. Some things are wrong, see 2# post.

The writing on the gun (Fun fact #2:3376x778). Font is the closest match I had (Colonna MT).

I really want that aggro finger-guard. Lets see how it plays out.

TODO:
My workflow: Create a base (shapes, lineart,...) from screens or freehand.
--> Create a new base from that.
--> Repeat until happy.
--> Create 3D model
--> Do the same with the model. Normally to reduce the extreme polycound mess I will produce. (Normal cube with 1k Tri's, why not? I may use them)
Yes I really like to do hight resolution stuff.

Decided to give AutoCAD a try. If I can get it for free as a student, why not use it?
 
Some minor and major "errors" in the image. Was not really keen on spending much time for just one detail.
Moving stuff around is easier in 3d so much fixing will be done at the end.

Yeah, thanks to you I found it. As many things to base on is good.

 

I also updated the images: V2 of AutoCAD version, fixed up the grip and finger guard.

Some details too, if you want to see the difference open two tabs and switch.

 

Still details I am not quite happy with, especially with grip area.

But progress is good, may do some 3D stuff soon to play around some more with the features.

There is a version for Fallout 3

http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/16647/? FNV conversion (so so detail)

It would probably be easier to get permission from the author and convert along with re working the textures - vs - building something from scratch.

 

But what ever floats your boat.
