How do i make skyrim Winter.

The only mod's that seem to do that are Winter edition COT and the Landscape mod which adds too many plants, anyone else got another mod that isn't shown much?

I often play with a complete winter overhaul, especially in conjunction with frostfall. I previously used Aceeq's wonderful winter overhaul. Going back to that mode of play recently, I saw that it is now a part of Enhanced Landscapes. Is this the landscape mod you refer to? I had issues with the terrain being populated with lots of "grasses" when I first installed it. I prefer windswept, clean snow fields for a winter overhaul.

 

To fix I did all of these things, some may not be necessary, I cannot be sure sorry.

 

I moved enhanced landscapes after flora overhaul in the load order (despite loot indicating that the opposite was best)

 

I edited the following lines in skyrimprefs.ini as such:

 

fGrassStartFadeDistance=0.0000

fGrassMaxStartFadeDistance=0.0000

fGrassMinStartFadeDistance=0.0000

 

Also in skyrim.ini

 

bAllowCreateGrass=0

 

 

I suspect some of those changes are redundant but I was not very scientific about it and it worked, so I was happy. It left me with clean snow fields but still harvestable flora where they are supposed to exist.
