urielmanx7 Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 Has anyone noticed that items respawn after a while in containers, even when the enemies haven't? I find it very broken that I can clear a location and, sometime after if I'm ever close by it again, I can go a loot everything again, like, how's that even makes sense? Why bugthesda, why? Anyone knows if there's a mod fixing that?
Yuni Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 I think it's on purpose, because of their extensive radiant quest system. They'll send you places you've already been, and new enemies have moved in. They really went full-hog on the radiant quests this time. Edit: Oh hey! Uriel! Been ages since I've seen you. I'm Yuni, over from Zeta and TP's forums. Good to see you up and around, man. =D
urielmanx7 Posted December 10, 2015 Author Posted December 10, 2015 Yeah, I got that, when the enemies do respwan, it makes sense that containers have items again, doors are locked, etc. What I am talking about is the locations that DON'T have enemies or npc's, yet the containers re-stock. Like for example, in Concord, the area around where you meet Preston, I've been there a couple of times, the area is deserted, yet, if I go and check, say, the first aid boxes, they have items again, even when I looted the area at the beginning of the game. And I've always been around, just it rare the occasion I post, it usually for this kind of stuff, I'm most a lurker here, just checking mods and stuff.
Halstrom Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 I put a stack of loot in a safe and when I came back the safe was locked again and only contained the original contents, also had a similar thing happen with a cash register, funny enough in the case of the safe I went back a few gamedays later and my stuff was back
