Just realized I could post here.  I spent months and months waiting for, and tracking your mod bud.  I'm proud of the work you created, proud that you made something that was significant, that you stood up for what you believed in your vision.  *Claps* Bravo man.  I'd love to see more armors by you in the future, I'm sure they'll all be as good.

See... it's REALLY INTERESTING to me that media that are marginalized by the mainstream (comic books, pornography, video games) produce works that show what's commonly understood to be pervasive sexism in the way that they present women. Now that  games are mainstream, there's an increasing push against that, and it's commonly directed against portrayals of sexy women.

Bethesda is on board with all that in their games (forgetting about Arena and Daggerfall); They've made compelling settings with female characters who are people, and portrayed them in a believable way that's consistent with their portrayal of men.

And, every time, the modding community takes that vision and throws it out the window. Isn't that interesting?

So, I think people interpret this as counter-progressive, but I here's what I think: Gamers are familiar with people telling them that violent videogames will turn them into sociopathic murderers, but we know that we're capable of processing such concepts responsibly. I'd say the same is true of sexuality.

Our mainstream culture and media are pretty bad at dealing with sexuality. But I think that the popularity of mods like mine indicate that a lot of people aren't being served according to their needs: people want to engage with concepts of sexuality in their videogames.

I've read many a people criticize Bethesda for making "fake" and "ugly" women in their games, yet they then post pictures of their female characters with torpedo breasts, a giant ass, tiny waist, and face full of clown makeup. Sure, Beth doesn't give super sexy women, but their portrayal of them is more of a typical woman you may work at an office with or see in a grocery store.

Could anyone make this compatible with armorsmith?

It is isn't it?

You can use the slooty armor without a problem but it only has the vanilla upgrade slots.

You can do what Iceberg says or you could open up the CK and do it from there

I`m not an expert at using the CK but I do know to add ballistic weave to an armor piece.  I`m assuming that adding other slots would be similar to that.  Is that what you`re after?

Basically the original vault suit only has a lining upgrade, whereas armorsmith adds the second slot (for lighter build, higher weight capacity, etc) to all armor in the game. Slooty armor is standalone and therefore is not included in the mod so it only has the default upgrades. There are some patches for standlone armors but slooty is not included.

The workaround I have for now is just replacing the vault suit mesh with the slooty mesh, which works fine but I'm sure once I find other vault suits they will all be Vault 111 which kinda sucks.

If you open up the CK does your Slooty Armor Suit have this line in the bottom left where it says Attach Parent Slots?
