Does anyone remember which mod adds the ability for any NPC to rape the player when in combat, when they get within melee range? I have like 200+ mods I can't remember which does this anymore. Also besides deleting the mod, is there an option to lower the rate the rape happens? Right now it's kind of ridiculous that the moment any NPC attacks my character within 5 seconds my character gets raped, making melee combat completely useless. Also it's causing something crashes too. =/

Sounds like a Lovers mod designed to allow rape. But without a load order, I could just as easily punch you through the internet as give you a good diagnosis on this.

 

IIRC there are a few Lovers mods which can do this. Obvious one would be LoversRaperS.esp, since that's the main one. There's a configurable version on the site somewhere(I have it but I'm not sure who made it), which can allow you to configure pretty much all of it, up to and including simply turning off player rape.

But still, it takes some experimenting ton get it just right. Turning up creature rape meant taking a few in game days to get through the cGen. At Timescale 12.

So you're saying that the ability for an NPC to rape the PC is gone or isn't working in raperS anymore? I remember from my last time with oblivion that NPCs could rape my character and did very often. And I remember that chaos mode allowed NPCs and monsters to rape other NPCs and that this was a function of RaperS.

Hes right, Rapers has the ability to allow NPCs to rape you without using joburg or landE. Rapers is pretty much standalone and does not require either mod for anything and vise versa for joburg but idk about what LandE. Its probably LoversRapers that you should be looking for.

No what I am trying to tell you is RaperS may have started out as a standalone but it is not meant to be so NOW as far as using it for NPC's to rape. Yes, you can turn on chaos mode and give NPC's the ability to rape BUT you have no control or settings at that point. A stand alone mod would have some settings right?

 

As things stand RaperS chaos mode is meant to turn on joburg or lande and they then take over and you then have settings you can tweak to your satisfaction.

 

Also, I have seen those who JUST turn on chaos mode and do NOT have either joburg or lande enabled have all sorts of problems. :(

 

Long story short RaperS without chaos mode is just you raping others. With chaos mode enabled it turns on joburg and lande functionality.

 

You are welcome to not believe me and go try it for yourself and enable RaperS and not have joburg or lande enabled. You have no settings and strange things have happened to those that posted in the tech support area.

Ok, correction on all of this mess (mostly my mess):

RaperS - with Chaos mode off - only you can rape others

RaperS - with Chaos mode on - this turns on "combat rapes" based on the limited settings that are still available in the RaperS settings spell (this is ONLY for rapes during combat).

Joburg - this is for stalking. That is it. The settings you pick will turn on or off who stalks whom and how often.

 

Sorry for any confusion I created here. I was missinformed and too lazy to delve into the code and figure things out until recently and can now see what is what.

A standalone mod is a mod that can function by itself without any other mods. Regardless of what chaos mode does or dosent do, it still makes rapers retain the combat rape function. An analogy would be to say an office building ceases to be one just cause the workers(they would be the chaos mode in this argument) inside have switched the lights off and and gone home for the night. No, its still an office building and will continue to be, just an empty one. Rapers gives the option of combat rape but turning on chaos mode does not cease that function. You seem to be mixing up functionality and customization.

 

And thus concludes this pointless argument over semantics.

 

Back to rapers mod...

 

Rapers has worked by itself and has done so since the wolflore days. I know cause I've used it alone without either of the 2 other mods till CHarlock and ShadowRuuner starting doing their own variations which isnt too far back. If indeed Rapers does benefit from Joburg or LandE then its news to me. But since the OP has issue with combat rape and not non-combat rape then Im fairly certain the mod he is looking for is LoversRaperS.

So, using RaperS' Chaos mode (and Joburg) will allow my companion NPCs to get raped again? They used to get raped in battle all the time - some of my favourite moments - but now it never happens - I'm the only one who gets raped anymore...

 

They all just stand around and watch...

 

I thought Chaos mode just let everyone attack everyone and turned it off.

RaperS chaos mode will allow npc's to rape each other and you. However it has very little controls built into it once turned on.

 

Joburg will allow you to tweak the settings for stalkers only.

You really should try out ShadowRunner's version of RaperS

It has all tweakable settings, they are no longer hidden like the other versions. NPCs get raped, they rape you, even your companions rape other NPCs in combat.

There's also a spell where you can set "Can rape" and "Can be raped" on NPCs.

There are also settings to tweak the rape success rape and even if attacked from behind bonus.

I turned player character to "cannot be raped", and she no longer gets raped in combat, but still get raped on a constant basis from the "someone's staring at me, better run away" thing where an NPC glows purple and sneaks onto you.

That's joburg doing that. You get stalked, caught and raped.
