Akzyra Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 I need help with my saves. Somehow my Skyrim managed to F*CKN multiply the size of a save by 14 over 30 minutes of playing. In numbers: Save: 7.25 MB 26min later: 108 MB+ another 20 min: 150 MB The last save has a playtime of 3h 50 min. Modlist Pastebin I noticed it when stuff like Hunterborn menus lagged and took seconds to apear. No real clue what caused it. What is doing this? Maybe some faulty mod you know of? What can I do to find out? Looking back at older saves I have some that are close to 80 MB, but drop down to 7 mb. Any help is appreciated.
badbat111 Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 im guessing your using porn mods ? if yes its just that your pc has a major hardon right then only kidding i dont know what could cause it
digital_dovah Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Open the save in this save cleaner and cross-reference the first two digits of the scripts it deletes when you click "fix script instances" with your load order in whatever mod manager you use to find the culprit. if you're using an HD texture mod uninstall the official HD DLC through steam since it's redundant.
Akzyra Posted October 17, 2015 Author Posted October 17, 2015 Save Cleaner and Skalpel didn't help. I reverted to an earlier save, and came across an bandit that I could talk to. I tried to kill him, but he regenerated health close to death. Kill command didn't work. I saved after I killed him by setting his health to -99999 and hitting him. That save was bloated. I also failed some quest. Maybe it was him, but for sure something at valtheim towers. I will try to solve whatever this quest is for now.
yatol Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 how about using the seach bar? http://www.loverslab.com/topic/53706-is-my-save-bloated/?p=1352155 and taking care of the problem, whatever it is, won't fix you save
