Post any useful or fun mods you use that aren't custom skins!

I'll try to update the OP whenever someone posts something, for easy access. If you see a mod here that's yours and you're not credited, or don't want your mod up, shoot me a PM or just reply to the thread.

 

note: keep in mind the patch # it's compatible for, since all mods can break each subsequent patch

Unfortunately there is a significant lack of these. There is, I believe, a cheat table for messing with character breast mesh size and shape (although that could fall under "skins" for you), but beyond that and camera editing I don't think there's much. I'd love to be proven wrong though.

 

My single most desire recently has been a cheat table that lets you manipulate light direction, intensity, ambient and what have you. If there are any bored cheat engine experts I'd be elated if you found some way to do that!

Dance mod like skyrim would be a must. Maybe, replacing the Private Paradise animations with a dance.
ENB graphics will be an enormous visual pleasure. Real light from the sun or others luminous objects, adding a particles FX, godrays, and other stuff.

I'm personally holding out for a mod tool that allows me to change music and sound effects. I wouldn't mind being able to put some Tekken and Soul Calibur tunes in the game :D

Updated OP with two mods that are pretty useful, only for 1.02 though. Haven't tested them in the later patches! IMO the camera alone is worth keeping 1.02 for

Hmm, I guess that wouldn't count as a skin mod since we're not technically modifying the original file as per what we normally do? I would include it due to its ease of access though! That sounds interesting though, got a link for archive purposes?

But causes some weird effects if you go underwater. :D 

 

What's this?  Googling "dinput8 dead or alive 5" didn't tell me much except that dinput8 is a .dll file.

Exactly, it's the same needed for lnk_reshuffle.

Just throw both "DInput8.dll/DInput8.ini" in game folder and test the camera.

Also try pressing F1 (slowmotion), F4 (90º tilting).

It can skip the intro movie too.

Anywhere to download DInput8.dll and DInput8.ini? goofling didnt help. DInput8.dll is present in lnk Reshuffle but cant find the .ini one

So I'm looking for camera mods that work with the current version of DOA5LR.  I'll quote the features I was looking for that I posted on another forum:

 

So I'm looking for camera mods that will allow infinite zoom in and allow the camera to rotate around, over, and under the characters even if it sends the camera through the ground/ceiling/another character. And infinite camera pan would be really helpfull too.

 

So, I know the "camera mod for 1.4" that is in the first post will work, but it only has infinite zoom and a side tilt this isn't very usefull for me.  (at least the infinite zoom is something.)

 

So are there any other camera mods that work with the current version of the game?  Doesn't have to be cheat engine stuff.  Just looking for anything that will give me infinite zoom and remove as many camera movement/placement restrictions as possible.

 

This Dinput8 thing sound promising but doesn't sound like anyone knows where to get it all, and I'm not sure it works with the current version of the game either.

Welp.....Just found out I'm not allowed to post links.  -_-

 

Well, I'll just post a quick reply leting you guys know that that Camera Mod 1.04 was updated recently to make it complatable with a recent small update that occured recently.  (The game kept crashing when I was using the previous version of the mod/cheat with the current version of the game.)

 

Again I'd love to tell you how to get the new version, but again not allowed to post links.....   -_-"

i think there are some tricks to post links  (such as add space into links ,remove http  ....

i only found camera 1.04 here https://www.mediafire.com/folder/9zi2gt8dyllaj/doa5mod

but it seems that the functions is still limited

Yes, that link is how I was able to figure out that a new version of Camera Mod 1.04 had been released.  Thanks for posting it for me.

 

That mod really does seem like the only camera mod that works with the current version of doa5.  The infinite zoom is the minimum of what I need for a camera mod, but removing the camera movement restrictions sure would help.  I sure hope either the person working on that mod adds removal of camera movement restrictions (the old cheat engine file that one is based on used to also allow free-er movement of the camera), or one of the older mods that inlcudes both infinite zoom and free-er camera movement finally gets updated to the current version.

 

 

Also I thought it wouldn't be ok to try to get around the link posting restriction.  If I'm not going to be banned or something like that for going around the link posting restriction then I guess I'll try it, but was worried I be breaking some rules or something if I did that.

I think the link restriction thing goes away after you make a certain number of posts, to keep robots from making new accounts and spamming ads. With the three posts you've made already, you may be able to post links now.

so i tried the link navmesh posted and when i tried the nov and oct update of doa5lr 1.04 camera with the enable big zoom in and remove camera rotation limit up and down and the rest, my game freezes and then crashes. is there any update to those where they wont have any problem ?
