Summary:

 

There are many good adult games out there, but since some are hard to find, others with poor links for download, and merely for a sense of overview I decided to make this list.

The games have been picked by three criteria: They are free, open source games, they are adult orientated, and they are among the games I have been able to secure Mega-links for.

 

The list is made to provide stable Mega-links to these great games. Some of these can easily be acquired from other sites (mainly: hongfire, ulmf and tfgamessite), yet other have been nearly abandoned by their authors and almost disappeared from the web. By making this list I hope to extend the survivability of the games. I also hope, that if someone have not tried these sort of games before, but like I became more open to the subject via the mods on this site, this could be an easy way to begin and check these sort of games out.

 

The links a done with hXXp instead of hTTp to avoid webcrawlers. Simply change the xx to tt manually before following the link.

ETO Girl Life - Qsp Player

• You play as a female trying to survive in a big Russian city. Holding down a job, buying necessities, and most likely engaging in some of the exceedingly many H-events. This is a huge game using real life pictures to depict events. To play open QspPlayer, then the qspgui program (alt+L to choose English), then choose either GirlLife_Community for best translation or eto_188_ for a few more events.

As zia mentioned, it is imperative to know that many of these games need you to run your pc on Japanese app locale.

Many exe files can though be opened programs that ensures this.

Try Press Switch, it's a classic visual novel type, though most of the games on the city do not necessarily use anime drawings.

 

Many of their games use anime and hentai from somewhere else but many other simply uses text or real life photos.

There are only playthroughs of the early quest stages, which have been translated for a long time:

In order to get RPG 2000 to work remember to change the 'system locale' to Japanese, and not the language of the pc.

 

For windows 10:

1. Start -> Settings 2. Open: "Time and Language" 3. on Date and Time-Tab under related settings -> "additional Date, Time and regional Settings" 4. additional window will open, there choose tab "Administration" there "change system locale" 5. Select Japanese and klick OK

Without changing System locale the installation crashes at ~45%.

When i change System locale to japanese, the .exe file wont even start. I just get an error "the system cannot find the patch specified".

Apart from minor apparent changes, nothing is noticeable. Everything will continue in English or whatever language you run, as it changes not the language you read, but the language the pc reads. I changed mine half a year ago for VH and never bothered changing it back.

No. Applocal is an M$ tool. And vaguely called "regional settings" are settings for no unicode programs, they doesn't change your system language.

Some of these are quite fun. 

I loved Overwhored, Harem, Harem Collector.  I donate to all 3 on Patreon right now.  (Overwhored's developer for his next project since that one is done)

Maids Perfect, seems great, but there are mini-games in it that I have trouble with.  (Manual dexterity and some physiological challenges that I have)  Girls x Lust the sequel to it is a bit better.

 

Hent High School is pretty good, but it is too much of a work in progress...At least it LOOKS like Shilo is still actively working on it.  He's been popping in on the HHS boards over there.  LOTS of big ideas for that game.  Lots of potential.

Checked out Sim Brothel 2...Seem to be missing what's so great about it.  Got bored with it.  Maybe someone can clue me in on what's so great about it

 

Also The original HHS...can be found on the HHS site here if you have trouble with the other site linked in the original post.

 

And one more thing...on HHS+...You have the choice to play as a Male, Female, or Funatari Principal.

Yes, the game was sadly abandoned and never picked up. For similar story line see Violated Heroine - Goblin Bride.
