musei Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 Happy Friday everyone (or Saturday or whenever you're reading this). Hope all are doing well. Have a quick question for everyone here. I'm using the ADEC body costumes and love it so far. I found one particular armor I liked but it doesn't use the body type I've got installed. Is there a way to edit the armor (the NIF file with NifSkope) to point to a different directory to use for the meshes and body textures for the other body type, that way when you equip the armor, it equips the body along with it, that way I don't have install lots of different mods for multiple body types and stuff? I just want it only for one single armor and that's it. Your help is super appreciated.

RedMonika Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 Well, someone else will probably be able to help you on this more but there is a way in Outfit Studio to change an armor to another body but I don't have a lot of experience in that. However, there is an ADEC preset in Bodyslide, so, if this armor has bodyslide files you can build it to that preset. Which armor is it?
musei Posted September 11, 2015 Author Posted September 11, 2015 It's a ZGGB-R type armor I'd like to convert to ADEC. If there is an easy way to do it myself I will definitely give it a shot. I thought it would be easier to copy the ZBBG-R body to a different directory, and then somehow edit the armor NIF files to point to the ZGGB-R body just for that one armor.

Can you give us link to the armor in question?
musei Posted September 11, 2015 Author Posted September 11, 2015 Op sorry about that. Yes the armor is from the Update 11 Pack (https://mega.nz/#!IxlxAQDK!M-gU1W-smAJ-aD4oAfqRURErrRAfq7vvLNrsXlaSj10) it is called the DP n Trielek Mix And thank you for your help I do appreciate it. Is there a way to do what I said earlier though? If I wanted to keep the body type with the armor just for this one piece? I can obviously load up the armor no problem in the game without crashing, but of course the breast look funky as well as the hips area. So I'm wondering if I can just point the armor NIF file to a different directory of files for the ZGGB-R body and that would be a quick fix and allow me to use the same body type?
gvman3670 Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 http://www.loverslab.com/topic/27557-new-clothing-body-style-converter-beta-v089f-10-26-2014/ One of the Lab members made this. And it's really not too hard to use and is pretty straightforward. It can also rig the mesh for BBP/TBBP/HDT if you want to. I've converted a few armors to UNP HDT-PE using it. But keep in mind that it works best if the two bodies use the same UV mapping (so for converting to ADEC you'd want a body type that uses the same UV layout, not sure which that would be).

Thanks, just tried using it all morning long. Even with the guides, no clue how to work this.
musei Posted September 12, 2015 Author Posted September 12, 2015 So instead of converting an armor to my existing body. Is there a way to just make a different folder for all of ZGGB-R's body and point the armor to use that body when equipping that one armor?
gvman3670 Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 You have to take the two bodies (the one the armor fits and the one you want it to fit) then make a lattice. Then use that lattice to convert the armor's _0 nif.
