According to UFO description page under "fail-safe install procedure" author says : 4) Delete any loose pex files in DATA/SCRIPTS folder that are on the list i have linked I've searched these .pex files in Mod Organizer "Data" tab, and I've noticed two things. First, I don't have all the .pex files mentioned by UFO, but I don't think it's a problem, right? Second, and most important, all .pex files in my Data/Scripts corresponding to those in UFO list are inside the .bsa archive of the Unofficial Skyrim Patch. It's safe to delete those .pex files from USKP ???

UFO was the first follower mod I used a few years ago, I liked it well enough but a lot of mods had some compatibility issues so I ended up going with AFT (amazing follower tweaks). Never had any issues with that mod.

Never had any issues with that mod. Well, I have already tried AFT (and also EFF) but UFO was the only one who ever gave me problems. My question is NOT which follower manager is better than the others, there are already several topics about it. All I want to know is if I can remove those .pex files from USKP safely.

Why do you wanna use it then if it gives you problems. If you have to uninstall vanilla scripts if they are in USKP or base game, then throw the mod away. It's safe to delete those .pex files from USKP ??? I personally think that its not safe to delete the .pex files in the Unofficial Skyrim Patch but you can try it out if you want. Dont know what kind of problems will appear however. As for what everyone else is saying, UFO is very outdated and i would like to recommend you to use either AFT or EFF mainly because they are up-to date , that and the fact that they are compatible with a lot of followers (patches for some) Still if you do want to use UFO then understand that it might cause problems within your game, however its your decision alone if you want to use it or change it , thus you decide if you want to have a "kind of" broken save or not.

Then use it, nobody is stopping you Still if you see a lot of problems with UFO kindly give EFF a try again (since its been updated from the past when it had a lot of problems). Good Luck to you
