IAMDRWILY Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 I dunno why I'm even making this thread, but I just wanna say that I really want to see some extremely anti-lore armors and weapons being made (i.e. jeans and t-shirts, guns ported from Fallout NV, horses being replaced by motorcycles) Just want to get that out there.
sdd500 Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 Right... Why don't we start converting mods from oblivon? There are bunch in Nexus.
billypnats Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 I'm currently trying to convert some of http://tes.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=41931 this into skyrim. Running into trouble tho :/
shedidwhat Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 I DL'ed that mod for the same purpose. I have not started on it you though what problem are you running into ?
billypnats Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 something very noob that got fixed just a min ago I expect more trouble though cus this is my first time porting someehting Actually, since you're working on it, why not give a noob a few general pointers on porting, I'm currently trying to piece things together from overly brief tutorials. Just a general guideline is fine ex. 1.do this 2. do that 3. etc Actually, nvm looks like I still can't get that problem fixed, I can't even fit the cloth mesh with body mesh
shedidwhat Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 I have been using this http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Converting_an_armour_to_another_body_for_Skyrim I have printed the whole thing out as I still have to look at it 60% of the time

[/quote'] nah, I can't convert it x( I can do petty stuffs using nifskope such as putting glossiness into the body or armors, making it looks like it has been oiled or polished, but that's it.
