I was on a little experimental mood and happened to delete from the mod all files called ".DS_Store". After that the game started without any problems. Good catch. The ".DS_Store" files are created by the OS X Finder. There must have been an engine change in CK2 that reacts badly to their presence, as the previous versions were also zipped on a Mac and didn't crash on Windows. I created a new zip on my Windows machine, and I'll release it as a new version to (hopefully) cut down on confusion. Is Horse Lords required? Because I do not have that one yet. The only one this mod actually depends on is Way of Life, but I do have everything except Sunset Invasion.
