[help] devious devices not fitting properly

hey guys, i have a problem where the gags from devious devices do not fit my character's mouth at all. supposedly it's because my character requirements, but i set it on UNP (and even had to set my character model to setscale 1), but still no avail. any help would be appreciated. thanks <3

The problem doesn't seem to be that they're not fitting. The collar, armbinder, and belt have the correct dimensions for the character. It's just that her mouth didn't open when the gag was equipped. Try re-equipping it? (easier said than done when you're wearing an armbinder , but you can test with a new character instead, spawn a gag with the console)

re-equipping is hard. my character can't take it off for some reason.

do you think making a new character will do the trick? i've made several new characters already and i don't wanna go through the whole intro again >->

Remove the following mods and start a new game.

BBLUXERYSUITE,

causes a shit ton of issues you may as well toss gasoline on your mods list due to this mod and set it on fire right now.

Known by most mod authors to be a real issue, heck SexlabSexSlaves and our own Sacramentos say this mod is rife with issues on both the tech support how to set up your game and a popular mod right there so there you go.

AP Skyrim, directly will cause issue with Sexlab. Another reason to Start a new game.

ASX Spells, redundant and doesn't even work with most normal setups anyway for the last 2 years.

FNIS Sexy Move, Go see what the mod authors of SexlabSexSlave have to say about it, its a nice mod but in a sexlab game you need your script space for our mods.

Enhanced Blood, I have gone as far as removing this mod from my load order to enhance script speed responsiveness in my game.

Footsteps, remove it, every little bit helps with a Devious Sexlab playthough.

Wet n Cold, by far one of the worst offenders when it comes to Killing Games with too many scripts.

In fact here are some more popular mods that have to be used in script light load orders.

Frostfall

Footprints

RND

Ineed

Heck man you have enough in there to basically play 10 more hours before you hit dreaded cannot continue playthrough syndrome.

Go read up Sacramentoes or Sexlab Sexslaves do not touch mods lists.

There really is only so much that can be running in the background in Skyrim before you just hose down your whole playthough.

Myself being a part of the Devious Devices team I just stick with Devious Device Mods and Sexlab, also I use Defeat that's pretty much it for immersion and I always make sure not to put in a mod that runs constant script calls unless its a part of that family of mods.

To check really fast if your running a lot of active scripts is pretty easy.

Hit ~ then click on character then use shift key in SkyUI consol to navigate through your spell effects pretty much every offender that is constant will be listed in there somewhere.

Its not that this method is a bad idea per say its just that every single programmer used that method to get his mod working on a game that was made to work on an XBOX 360 then ported to computer.

Let that sink in.

The mouth is controlled by the MFG commands that, prior to SexLab v 1.6, was included with SexLab. Ashal is going to put the MFG Console commands back in SexLab as it works better than the SKSE functions used in v 1.6. Install the MFG Console mod (available on the nexus) and it should take care of the issue with the gag.

Estrus is another mod that can cause a lot of issues with scripts.

If you do remove any of the recommended mods you would be best to start a new game entirely once you do. You can try using a save cleaner to remove the scripts but I have had limited success with them.

@Gameplayer: thanks for the file removal recommendations! it's don't think i'm gonna remove AP Skyrim, but i'll probably remove a lot of it.

@Veladarius: estrus has a place in my heart, too, but thanks for the MFG console mod suggestions. i'll post results after i get a chance to try the method.

as a general question (and sorry of this is out of topic), should you only be running mostly either nexus mods or loverslab mods? or could you be running good amounts of both?

i'm starting to love this community, btw. you guys are really helpful

i installed the MFG console with a new game and this still happens

is it MFG or am i not using the console properly?

[update in case anyone else is having this problem]

so far, i've tried the following:
- installed MFG console. it works to the extent that i have to open the console and change the expression every time the gag is equipped. tedious but temporary fix and you can find it here: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/44596/?

- re-installed zaz animation pack in the order of: main, textures, patch. then manually wrote over the meshes files of in the skyrim data folder. this does nothing for some reason.

- installed MO. it turns out that SexLabAroused and SexLabDefeat has overwritten files and SexLab overwrites files.

- uninstalled AP Skyrim. this doesn't work either.

will try the following:
- disabling SexLabDefeat and SexLabAroused

- reinstalling Skyrim using only LoversLab mods
