bahamut2119 Posted August 26, 2015 Author Posted August 26, 2015 Got it working somewhat after some searching around I installed it manually but now getting this error  ERROR(53): Could not find file 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Data\meshes\actors\character\behaviors\1hm_behavior.hkx'.
srayesmanll Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 This helped me tremendously when I switched to MO: http://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:Mod_Organizer. Look for the section on installing FNIS and follow it EXACTLY.   >>Warning: Bad installation. Guest Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 To run FNIS from MO, I usually do this: I install FNIS (extremely important the "tools" directory) directly in the Skyrim/Data/ folder. Â Then in MO I add a new application, called FNIS, point to the GenFNISForUsers inside the tool folder of Skyrim/Data/ Run it once, and you should be all set. Â
Arhon Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 Uh you can install FNIS from Mod Organizer then go to the Data Tab (Right next to Archives tab) find the "Tools" folder and open it then open "Generate FNIS for users" and right click the "GenerateFnisForUsers.exe" and select "Add as Executable" Â Also do run Skyrim once from steam. Â And like srayesmanll said, don't tick the boxes for patches you don't have.

Ok that might just be it ive only opened the start window never brought up the game just enough to create my inis.  I have that mod it at the time wasn't recognizing anything    To run FNIS from MO, I usually do this: I install FNIS (extremely important the "tools" directory) directly in the Skyrim/Data/ folder.  Then in MO I add a new application, called FNIS, point to the GenFNISForUsers inside the tool folder of Skyrim/Data/ Run it once, and you should be all set.   Uh you can install FNIS from Mod Organizer then go to the Data Tab (Right next to Archives tab) find the "Tools" folder and open it then open "Generate FNIS for users" and right click the "GenerateFnisForUsers.exe" and select "Add as Executable"  Also do run Skyrim once from steam.  And like srayesmanll said, don't tick the boxes for patches you don't have. Its setup to run though mo starts fine just installed manually in my default skyrim folder.
bahamut2119 Posted August 26, 2015 Author Posted August 26, 2015 I have twice now followed the steps on S.T.E.P to get fnis installed plus did a manual install and i fully loaded into the main menu of the game but still having issues I screenshotted my copy of mo with the executable editor open and a copy of fnis installed via mo so it can be verified I did stuff right yet error 53 is still popping up. Â Â Â
Guest Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 The error reported by FNIS is the missing file for the "Animation 1H weapons". Are you sure you have this mod installed and enabled? Â Just uncheck it from FNIS and try again. It should work. Â
bahamut2119 Posted August 26, 2015 Author Posted August 26, 2015 Just for shits and giggles i unchecked all but "gender, skelleton and rm" patches still same error with both my manual install and my mo install. Â
bahamut2119 Posted August 26, 2015 Author Posted August 26, 2015 So I just went and found the animation pack i have with that "missing file" I copied the full data and dumped it all into my mo install of fnis and bam works so far even detecting all the other mods i got suddenly.
gvman3670 Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 I've had MO and FNIS give me an error then try generating FNIS again and get no error. Diligence.
bahamut2119 Posted August 27, 2015 Author Posted August 27, 2015 After about 30 hrs of rigging i got it all to work great thank god thanks for the help im surprised i didn't try to merge that animation pack with fnis before.
