Zquad1 Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 Does anyone know how I can get other vampire eye textures to work when being a vampire, I have searched compatibility patches but non of them are helping, & I don't want to resort to overwriting the existing textures. There are eyes from some of the eye mods out there & I want to use them when in vampire form.
WraithSlayer Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 I assume the eyes look distorted or out of place when you set them? This is caused by the Ningheim race having a custom head mesh, so anything involving eyes is a bit tricky. I think RaceMenu recently improved compatibility between Ningheim and vanilla/modded eyes so that this race isn't stuck with using only Ningheim-specific eyes, but there are still many mods that don't work correctly. If overwriting the textures for one of the Ningheim eye sets is something you want to avoid, you could create a new set in the CK/TES5Edit, using NIngheim meshes and custom textures.
Zquad1 Posted August 25, 2015 Author Posted August 25, 2015 well acctually I am not having issues with the meshes at all it's the fact I can't get any textures at all to show up. so like I installed Cover Eyes & there isn't any compatability patch for it but usually the patch replaces like you said the meshes but is there a way I can use the textures from this mod for the Ningheim Race in vampire form?? Meaning I want to fully use this mod or any other eye mod weather I am in vampire form or not.

And even then, I'm afraid it wouldn't look the way you want it to, because Ningheim vampires have have an additional eye glow similar to the one Draugrs have.
Zquad1 Posted August 25, 2015 Author Posted August 25, 2015 I guess i'll have to do some experimenting By altering the .esp & adding a texture set to the vampire eye meshes via Creation kit & see if that works for a few textures I am wanting to use. Thanks for the reply I totally appreciate it.. Well actually you can make anything not glow as long as you have a pure black msn map so that no light can shine through.
