DenjiXMakima Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 hey guys, nearly every month I have to reupload all of the files in this thread. http://www.loverslab.com/files/go/4b72fa3a30702e26bcc805f75db89f3b/armourclothing-conversion-for-mcbm You can download them but you can't open the files cause they are broken. I haven't uploaded them yet because I wrote to the staff-member in hope they could help me. Unfortunatly it seems like they don't know what causes this or they ignore my message since I never got an answer. I write here in hope you might know something, cause it is really troublesome and anoying to reupload all these files. Also I can't just reupload them with the same name, I always have to change the name of the file by adding a extra letter or something else, otherwise the files keep beeing broken. anyone of you got an idea?
WraithSlayer Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 Well, that's a strange issue, but most mods around here are packed in .7z files and never run into any issues, so maybe try packing your mod with 7-Zip instead of WinRAR?

RitualClarity Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 Try repacking them into another format. Then try uploading them. If they work then it might be specific to that format then it would be easier to address it. Also by all means try uploading it here in different forms. It should work here like it would elsewhere. Perhaps something is wrong with the downloads. There was some issues before a few days ago.

I wasn't aware that they worked then they broke. That is something Ashal likely will need to know. Might be something that is going on in the background since rars aren't used too much it hasn't come to his attention. They should work as they are approved files for upload. But yes he is busy however this does need to be addressed it isn't right that a file that worked when uploaded goes bad a few weeks later. It causes undue stress for the site and the mod content creator as well as users. Maybe perhaps he will see this one.

And in this another thread http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/2114-blade-soul-set-unpb-tbbp-and-7b-bombshell-tbbp/ there are broken files too.
