Hi I have a little probblem with rugs in skyrim and yes I have tried installing new rug textures with detailed rugss. Yet they remain purple. Everything else looks nice it's only the rugs that are being crazy. Anyone have any tips?

With comand it had the id 000681a9 so it should be a fuck up in the normal skyrim textures.

It looks like the bearskin rugs. They will be in the skyrim.bsa if I'm not mistaken, so no idea how they could've been removed (unless you unpacked all your bsa archives).

Ah thanks.

However found the error. I found out that The Ruffled Feather http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/13268/?included fur replacers that had been broken in some way. After reinstalling that everything works fine now.

how it look like that are "fur rugs" flawed!

there is a mod on nexus, better textures for fur rugs, maybe that's your problem.

Yup, you're using NMM or doing manual installs, huh? That's the only way you could've lost those textures. That couldn't have happened if you used Mod Organizer. Just a heads up. ;)

I has had also never texture problems, I am a self maker, I install everything manually.

Just saying that if you install manually you have to put stuff back after uninstalling things. And if you use NMM you have to uninstall mods in the exact reverse you installed them in to not end up with lost or missing files.

Since MO doesn't actually overwrite anything you can remove mods and never be missing any files.
