GimmeBACON Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 Okay, so I've been annoyed by the facial expressions that my characters make during combat. Yes, I get you're in a fight, but do you have to look like you're dropping a deuce? If you don't think this is a problem, play a male character, go into combat, and take a picture of his face, I think your opinion may change slightly. So I was wondering if there is a mod out there that eliminates the combat facial expressions, or how to do it myself. I'm going to put up a few side-by-sides later to illustrate my point.
Guest Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 Are you using Player Headtracking/Lightweight headtracking and Emotions?
GimmeBACON Posted August 17, 2015 Author Posted August 17, 2015 Neither, but from what I've seen they, and I have used them before, they don't remove the characters becoming angry during combat.

I asked because those two mods (or similar) are known to cause the issue you're referring to. You could use my mod for the time being to clear expressions: http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/1527-fep-facial-expressions-project/ Or just MFG Console commands.

The thing is, I'm not saying my character is stuck in 'combat-face' out of combat, what I want is the combat-face removed entirely DURING combat. I know how to change faces using console commands, but when a fight starts, BAM! Ugly, dump-taking face.
NickNozownik Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Puppeteer Master allows you to change your character's facial expression. You can set the power of the expression to 10% and choose "happy/neutral". With 10% it won't make any difference. Or set it to 100% and choose "happy" so you'll smile while gutting your enemies. Changes are permanent and won't automatically reset during combat. They will reset only after loading a save or choosing the "reset" option in Puppeteer Figurine that will be automatically added to your inventory. They're not marked as essential so you can dump other figurines if you want. It's a light weight mod and won't conflict with other mods that will change your character's expression. Yeah, war face looks terrible in Skyrim.
