bjornk Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 Interesting how some ppl run skyrim 60fps with enb etc on gtx 960, personally i run skyrim on my 780 ti OC and im having 35 - 40fps outdoors with somber Jyggalag ENB, 2/4k textures and grass density 50 at 2560x1080 resolution. Talking about buying new card, if i couldnt wait i would take 960 - 970 and after upgrade to Nvidia pascal flagship (around 1 year from now). Reduce your resolution and enjoy your 60 FPS.
Guest Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 I run steady 60FPS at 1920x1080 with a GTX960. Light ENB and not too many mods (about a dozen.)
ONIXer Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 @Bjornk - reason i bought ultrawide cause of that resolution besides it doesnt hit much performance about 5 - 10% at max (comparing to 16:9) @CPU - ok, understood now
DupaStupid Posted August 18, 2015 Author Posted August 18, 2015 So with every eye candy option turned on in the enb menu that you bring up in game with shift+return I got a solid 60fps until nearing the fort in the beginning. It dipped to mid 40s then went back up to 60fps. But this is only with the following installed.all official/unofficial patches installed including the normal and high res patches installed. FNIS, latest ENB, Skyui, SKSE, static mesh improvement. So what enb settings should aim to have enabled? Do I really need bloom, sun rays, other sun options, mist, ect?

Ambient Oclusions , Detailed Shadows , Reflections, Water , Underwater , DOF ; these settings take the most oif your FPS. Also reduce AA from 16>8 , helps a lot and its barely noticeable in the game.
Uriel Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 3570k @4.4ghz Can I still run one of my gtx660 as a physics card? You can, but there's no point. I saw lots of tests where one powerfull graphics card does better then same card + old one for physics. Uh, btw. I presume you're talking about Nvidia's physx?
