PM a mod and give them the link to your thread and tell them you want it deleted the chance of them seeing a thread named please delete let alone a post in a thread asking for the thread to be deleted is next to nil. Moderators are the ones with the purple color if you don't see one in the bottom user list then you can just click the The Moderating Team link just above the user active list.
