That is pretty simple download tes cs extender from nexus and you can now change and edit esm and esp at the same time. normally tes does not allow this. you had to then open the esm with wreynbash and copy the esm to esp first edit the esp then copy the esp back to esm to accomplish this.

Well there is no .esp. Wanted to add one from the new SKS to the Slim race and when trying to save it asked for an .esp.

 

There's 2 extenders.

Did you choose the slims race's esp as an active esp when you opened it? otherwise the editor will ask you to save it under a new esp since there is no esp to save ^^'

For the extender I use the 1st one and works perfectly.

There is no Slim esp. There's only the esm.

Turned out all I had to do when it asked to save was make a slim.esp and activate it.
