gvman3670 Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 Are there any SweetFX files out there for Oblivion like there are for Skyrim? I'd like a new look, but would like to not have to go with ENB for performance reasons. Could ICBINE for Skyrim work for Oblivion, too? Anything like Imaginator available for TES IV?
Anatriax Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 A Tweaked ENB has everything you need. It's going to be incorporated into the guide, shortly.I'm adding the body replacer phase, and updating some small things on other phases. What is your PC Setup like? We're going to be configuring ENB so it's super light weight.
gvman3670 Posted August 10, 2015 Author Posted August 10, 2015 It's a laptop barely capable of running Skyrim and it runs Oblivion a little better. I use ICBINE and Imaginator for Skyrim. Hoping for something similar for Oblivion honestly.
Anatriax Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 Just open Nexus and search "SweetFX" there are a ton of presets
gvman3670 Posted August 10, 2015 Author Posted August 10, 2015 I found one on Skyrim Nexus that seems to work. There was nothing in a Sweetfx search on the Oblivion Nexus. I Googled to find the one I am trying now. Now to find something like Imaginator for Oblivion.
Anatriax Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 For Depth of Field? I don't think there is anything for Oblivion, unless you get ENB
gvman3670 Posted August 10, 2015 Author Posted August 10, 2015 Imaginator tweaks color palettes, brightness, saturation, contrast, bloom, sky and sunlight, etc. all on the fly with an MCM menu. In combination with lighting mods, SweetFX and Dynavision you would think it's an ENB running. But it has nearly no performance hit (only the lighting mods and Dynavision really have any negative effect).
Anatriax Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 Yeah, the only way I know of to get those effects is with ENB. Gopher is one of the creators of Imaginator/Dynavision, and I'm pretty sure they haven't done anything for Oblivion. Only Fallout 3/ Fallout NV/ Skyrim
Nightwynd Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 have you tried Oblivion Reloaded alongside SweetFX?
Anatriax Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 have you tried Oblivion Reloaded alongside SweetFX? Oblivion Reloaded is awesome. I may change to this for my guide, instead of ENB, actually. I tried it out for a few days, and I really like it.
gvman3670 Posted August 29, 2015 Author Posted August 29, 2015 I just decided to try I Can't Believe It's Not ENB (that I normally use in Skyrim) and it's working great. I did have to tone the colors down a bit, but it's working quite well and has absolutely no hit on my game performance. So if anyone's interested give it a shot.
