First, the PC went into bleedout and the screen went dark on load. I localized the problem to Deviously Cursed Loot and disabled it in MO, which removed the problem. I could play a bit and noticed no further problem until I tried to save, on which the game immediately CTDed, without actually doing a save. Whacked Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 What works for me is to load the save and type player.kill in the console, then when the save reloads automatically you should be able to save again, I would recommend a new save though. There are other reports that you should do this on a different save first, then load the problem save, but it always seems to work for me to just do it on the save having a problem.

Thanks for the suggestion, but there's another problem now that prevents me from trying it - the PC doesn't die for some reason. I disabled all mods that I thought could be responsible DAYMOYL/SD/... but nothing happens

For the essential player issue, open the console and click on the player and type isessential, if it returns 1, than try "setessential 7 0", or type tgm and press ENTER and then repeat this once more.

On the first, how do I do that? On the second, unfortunately it doesn't seem to have an effect. Eg when in combat, the PC just continues to get peppered with arrows but continues standing there.
Whacked Posted August 29, 2015 Posted August 29, 2015 Death Alternative causes the player.kill to just cause bleedout in my experience. Once you have typed in player.kill in the console you can then reload the save normally and it should fix your save issue, just as if the player had died and the system reloaded automatically. I haven't had to disable racemenu and nioverride.dll to fix the save issue, though they may be the problem, just player.kill/reload and I can save again.

Just check that Open console and type player.kill and it should work autoreload should take you back with DA ON since you changed settings after loading. And your load will work again. And if you are really really desperate, look around for a Giant or spawn one. They bypass Death alternative and such Or once again you can just suffer enough damage while bleeding (<= that is sthe status DA put you when you die) to die definitely. In few words... find a way to die and the autoreload fixes your save.

Just check that Open console and type player.kill and it should work "Should" being the key word. As I pointed out above, I've tried disabling Death Alternative (and SD+). The only thing that happens when I use player.kill is that an ominous sound is played... And no, not even the big giant hit could do anything about the issue. Character gets flung in the air, falls back down, and gets back up - with an empty health bar, but still mobile.

This works really well http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52363/? Just run it on your broken save and then try to die since you can t run a normal procedure. It should clean those dirty scripts. P.S: NEWS: after some playtime i run savegame cleaner ...now it noticed some orphan scripts and after itm everything was fixed but..... Last time somethibg like that happened ZAZ went totally broken in few days CTD at any ZAZ animation (issue since 605 never happened before)..... i hope it won't happen again.

Racemenu was the problem for me because i went from ECE to racemenu but still had the same ECE preset. It worked for a while but started to CTD on save on any toon i played. Try disabling racemenu and the plugin.

Same thing for me and even i tested on a new game its just after some time some orphan scripts appeared.... If you use savegame cleaner did you check only the # or did you also use the fix scriptsinstances button? Because even my save was clean of # but had some scripts to clean after some playtime that were not present at new game.

Racemenu was the problem for me because i went from ECE to racemenu but still had the same ECE preset. It worked for a while but started to CTD on save on any toon i played. Try disabling racemenu and the plugin. Which plugin? I disabled everything related that seemed to be related to RaceMenu in ModOrganizer, but the game still crashes on save.

First, the PC went into bleedout and the screen went dark on load. I localized the problem to Deviously Cursed Loot and disabled it in MO, which removed the problem. I could play a bit and noticed no further problem until I tried to save, on which the game immediately CTDed, without actually doing a save. Just all racemenu plugins and possibly XPMSE (if you have it). For it was both racemenu and XPMSE. But this kind of thing can happy because of anything really. Thats just what it was for me.
OH1972 Posted September 9, 2015 Author Posted September 9, 2015 Ok, couldn't work on this problem for a while but now took a radical approach. But this is getting strange. I'v been stripping the game down to almost the vanilla level. This didn't solve the immortality problem, but it solved the save crash problem - even after I added back some mods - EXCEPT when I load the last save in SkyCasino, i.e. located there, I still crash on save. If I load the same configuration with an earlier save, outside SkyCasino, the game saves regularly. Anyone have any idea what the issue might be????
