milasian Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 Pretty self explanatory, I recently downloaded the lost tribe mod and saw that there were females. I figured sexlab and the works wouldn't work since it's probably a custom skeleton ( I was right by the way) and I don't want to mess with his skeleton since i have no idea about the specifics of his. What would have been the biggest block for it is that the preds default skin is underwear which honestly makes sense. My request would be for someone to change that though without the right skeleton I know SOS or hdt aren't possible but hey I figured I'd make a request.
myuhinny Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 I'm not seeing a skeleton in the mods BSA so I'm pretty sure the mod must use whatever skeleton that you have installed and all you would have to do is get a BSA extractor or just download something like FOMM (fallout mod manager) which has a BSA extractor already in it. You can either look in the BSA and find out the folder path structure for the predator body and make the folder paths manually or if you extractor more then one item from the BSA with a extractor like FOMM it will extract the whole folder structure as well as the nifs/textures that you selected and all you would have to do is drop those folders into you game folder directory. Once you do that download a version of the body being used in the BSA that is compatible with SOS and replace the bodies that you extracted with those new bodies as well as renaming them to the predator name for the body nifs. Loose files will always trump files inside a BSA so the files you extracted from the BSA and changed will trump the ones in the BSA and will appear in game instead of the ones in the BSA because loose files load after the BSA is loaded.
milasian Posted August 10, 2015 Author Posted August 10, 2015 I realized the skeleton thing after messing around some. My only concern is that I have no experience with texturing or too much with nifscope other than porting from oblivion or one of the fallouts.
myuhinny Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 I haven't checked the predator but many of the creatures use existing creature skeletons. The predator might use the werewolf skeleton a few use the canine skeleton. These from my screenshots I added the bodies to the creature folders and placed the original ones in a folder to be able to change back later. MNC has many creature folders then I pasted in the creature member from the one nif into the new nif and renamed to new one to the name of the old nif. Some work while others do not as not all creature bodies are made the same size and stuff. http://www.loverslab.com/topic/18461-post-your-sex-screenshots/?p=1277075
anolbee Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 If I can edit sslCreatureAnimationDefaults.pex and sslCreatureAnimationDefaults.psc in scripts folder, I would add new races for Sexlab play. But I can't because my CK always crashes.
milasian Posted August 10, 2015 Author Posted August 10, 2015 As far as I can tell, the predators don't have their own skeleton they just use whatever you have installed. I might mess around a bit and see what I can pull off.
bcofer Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 I don't know if it will help but MurdermiesteR on Nexus uploaded a new predator armor and companion. Uses UNP petite, which is available nude. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/68644/?
myuhinny Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 I just did a bit more looking and it seems the predator body uses a player skeleton there are no skeletons in the mod that it uses and looking in the nif shows normal ninodes. Since it has no skeleton contained in the BSA or anywhere in the mod you might have to have a SOS compatible skeleton as well as having a body with the correct nodes in it as well. But I'm pretty sure you just need a compatible skeleton.
milasian Posted August 21, 2015 Author Posted August 21, 2015 Well that's what I thought as well, but SOS just isn't working for the race. My skeleton is fine, no problem with vanilla races.
