Radiant Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 I'm pretty clueless heh, I have it installed, however NPC faces aren't affected? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/35267/?
GimmeBACON Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 modded npc's or vanilla? If it's modded you have to find their folders, if it's vanilla, you may have to run one of the programs to edit characters and races. Never tried to edit npcs so I can't help you if that's the case.

Sorry for late response. The NPCs are all vanilla. What program are you talking about?
GimmeBACON Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 I don't recall, npc editor I believe. Looking at the file you have, I would just recommend you download it manually (not to a mod manager automatically), unpack it, and replace the head textures manually (they'll be named this)- femalehead.dds (2730 kb) femalehead_msn.dds (5461 kb) femalehead_s.dds (682 kb) femalehead_sk.dds (170 kb) For the sake of being thorough, make sure you have the proper meshes as well, and that's about as much as I can help you with without seeing your setup. Try that and tell me if it works
Rayblue Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 Make sure you have two other things so that they'll be no more neck seams: A headmesh mod -- specifically, I prefer Ran46's headmeshes. A body mesh -- either UNP, CBBE or compatibles.

A body mesh -- either UNP, CBBE or compatibles. Thanks to both of you guys. Currently I have SG Female Textures UNP, and a 7P body installed. I am seeing a neck seam. So I would just need to install a headmesh and then rebuild the body in bodyslide I assume?
sethwarner08 Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 Neckseams are a very tricky proposition, i've worked closely with some top modders to resolve this issue but sometimes there is just no way out. To effectively battle a neck seam you need to find a body texture that seamlessly blends face and body textures, one such texture MOD: "Fair skin Complexion". If you use various texture packs made by several author's a neck seam is very likely to present itself. You are also less likely to face this problem if the textures you have are not low resolution. Im not sure if you're using SG textures for both body and face, if yes try turning of your ENB to see if it is a contributor to the problem, if no try an alternate body texture and see if the problem persists. Also, since you mentioned NPCs, just making sure you're having the neck seam issue and not the neck gap issue.

It is as if the head is floating a bit, and I can see through the gap.

Neck gap is almost always an NPC weight issue, did you directly or by means of a MOD change any NPC weights whatsoever (from their Vanilla state)? IF the NPC weight is modified and does not match the default Vanilla weight, it could lead to some nasty neck gaps.
Mud Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 Neck gaps occur if you install an NPC overhaul mod that changes their weight in the middle of an ongoing game. Weight is one of those things that are baked into a save from the beginning. You can fix individual NPCs by changing their weight with the console command setnpcweight, but to fix everyone you'll need to start a new game.
sethwarner08 Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 I would recommend not messing around with NPC weights at all, keep them at Vanilla, if you want to modify a followers attributes like breast size, glute size etc, get EFF, it will allow you to change most body dimensions including height, thighs, arms etc IN GAME. The above assumes you have a compatible skeleton and a node scaling body such as a HDT compatible body.
