MoltenMinx Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Hello and sorry in advance if this is misplaced. And sorry again if it has already been suggested. Anyway, so, ever since I noticed how Khajiit have their own dialogue overhaul mod (Khajiit Speak), I've not been able to get this idea out of my head; Ditz speak. Completely the same idea as with Khajiit Speak, except female players getting a more ditzy/bimbo-like dialogue such as; "Can I, like, help you with something honey ~ ?" "Can you, like, hold my stuff pleeeaaase?" "Come on, I want you with me!" Etc, etc. I'm still uncomfortable with modding in general and I simply dont know how I should approach something like this (but some pointers in the right direction wouldn't hurt), so here's hoping this can atleast spark some kind of interest in all you real modders out there! <3
Guest Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 A mod like this is pretty easy. You should just add a quest for the hello dialogues (managed by the story manager), and then write your lines, and filter them by race/voicetype. Of course for a mod like this to be great, you need some real voice recording. And this can be really hard to do for all voicetypes.
RuikoTwo Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Looking at that Khajiit speak mod, a Bimbo/Submissive(I had a similar idea added to my wishlist sometime ago http://i.imgur.com/XePdluj.jpg) version of that would be amazing

To be quite honest, I never even knew Story Manager existed. I will take a look at it of course, but dont expect a miracle. And I wasen't really after voices. Imho, silent dialogues are more flexible. Thanks though! <3
Guest Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Check the standard quest called "DialogueGeneric". It is managed through the "story event" called "hello". Then there is a story manager event defined in Sm Event Node-->Actor ello Event. You should add the quest you are creating inside. Then it is just a matter of defining the lines, and conditioning them.
RuikoTwo Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 OMG! That was like, totally easy?..It almost like..Makes me feel stuupiid for not being able to do this, like, before? Oh maaah god like, make it stoop i cant like get it out of my head noow~?

Oh maaah god like, make it stoop i cant like get it out of my head noow~? Omg, those are awesome! I'm gonna keep digging here. Still have much to learn about this/ Reallife stuff getting in the way. But for future reference, you guys can just slap up some ideas/inspiration here mayhaps? Would help me out, as im an airheaded bimbo when it comes to writing. Edit: As a matter of fact, I have absolutely no idea how to start this. I dont even know how to start a mod (.esp files and all that or whatnot). If anyone could give me instructions in how to do so, for this mod's purpose, I'd be very grateful! ..In layman's terms.

Um..Like, The way i changed these lines was by totally just opening Skyrim.ESM in the Skyrim Creation Kit, then Character->Edit Player Dialogue..And then, like, from there it was a simple case of editing the dialogue lines you know? After that was done i saved it as BimboTest.Esp..Maybe.. That being like, said and stuff.. I'm not sure this is the correct way to dooo it~? This could cause..Kinda like bad things to happen? maybe not? would need someone umm, smart and stuff to comment on it?
Guest Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 To create a new mod, just open CK, check only Skyrim.esm, wait it to open, then save it with a new name. Then open it again, but be sure you double-right-click on it to make it the active plugin. Wait it to be loaded and you are done.

I'll see if I cant make this into something worthwhile. If I can, I'll make a seperate thread for it. *Giggle*

RuikoTwo Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 Good boy!(Or girl.) Can't wait to see what you come up with
MoltenMinx Posted August 7, 2015 Author Posted August 7, 2015 Good boy!(Or girl.) Can't wait to see what you come up with Tehee, girl is right! *Purrs* Anywanyways... My previous statement stands; I wouldn't mind getting inspiration from all you guys about what to write in the dialogues. So please, post away!' Edit: Oh and, does anybody know how to make the edited dialogues female only/find female dialogues and edit them? I cant seem to find an option or help for that end anywhere.
RuikoTwo Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 If you need some inspiration there is always this movie https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oWzKvpnMLlk. (Warning, just watching it may permanently lower your IQ.) This thread reminded me of it having seen it sometime during my childhood. As for the dialogues being female only or not, i'm pretty sure everything there is Unisex. So if you use my method of editing them it will apply to both genders. Unless our friend CPU here has a way to get around that.
Guest Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 You can use some text replacements for dialogues. But it does not do miracles. Look here: Creation Kit Text Replacement Usually if you want to have good dialogues defined by genders the only way is to have two lines, one for males, one for females, and then condition the answers (that will condition also the player prompts.)

Unless our friend CPU here has a way to get around that. Ouch... That hurt my brain. I'm a little scared about watching that movie. You can use some text replacements for dialogues. I see... Oh well. Well, for now i'm just gonna make it the way Ruiko does. Unisex and all. And just remind people that i'll look strange to male players I guess. Thanks though.
pyjinbom Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 If you ever get around to finishing this, please do share! It sounds like it would be a perfect addition to the bimbo curse from skyrimll's hormones mod.
