windows 10 breaks skyrim?

Hello so I just got windows 10 last night. a few days ago I modded skryim in the end 1 file messed it all up so I started again. then last night I downloaded windows 10 (not too bad btw ish..) so I then reinstalled skyrim (no mods) have all my mods from the last time in a folder ready. but when I installed skyrim it started on the lowest setting and windowed mode. it did the thing for the 1st time set up ect. said these are your setting. but when I went to start the game it didn't make the skyrim folder in my games/skyrim. it never makes the ini files. or the skyrimprefs. and every time I load up skyrim to try and make the game make the folder ect. it never does and just forgets to make them. I even played the game got to a save point saved the game and it didn't even save it. it didn't even make the skyrim folder.

any ideas? I know windows 10 has just come out but surly it cant do this?

You could just copy those folders to Win10 from your backups and see if that works. That's what I did after clean Win10 install.

Windows 10 is still very buggy, the smart thing to do is wait for a while for them to get alot of the major bugs out, most techs are saying wait 6 weeks or so.

I don't understand this. Any bugs people are experiencing are hardly bad enough to boycott the os until it's fixed. They're a couple of bugs, nothing bad. I've not had one single problem playing any game on my system since upgrading.

false!! not everything works with a new operating system round and I will it boycotting!

Skyrim, FONV, Oblivion, Prince of Persia WW, Star Wars Battlefront II, and Halo 2 for Vista are all working perfectly for me. They never even needed reinstalled, they were still in place and functioning after the W10 upgrade.

These are all fairly new games! I told you already, what is with older "Games"?

as Baldur's Gate 2, Might and Magic series, or even a little older Lands of Lore series?

can you guarantee me that these games still work with Windows 10? ;)

EDIT: If Microsoft accepts the cost, for all my games, who no longer work with Windows 10, then I will install it!

You could always do what I do and dual boot WinXP-Pro 32bit :)

SWBF2, Prince of Persia, and Halo 2 for Vista are at least as old as Morrowind, Winny. I used to play both H2 and Morrowind on my original Xbox, for Pete's sake.

I also have a second operating system on my PC, but that is not sense and the purpose of the thing! each new windows should be backward compatible,

at DX this is also the case, but Microsoft has never made this possible!
