GreatKazooMan Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 Hey, I don't know if it's been mentioned in a different thread (I did search, but couldn't find one), but I wondered how one goes about combining the body, hands and feet of skyrim bodies together? I tried the direct method in Nifskope, but all this does is make the feet distort, as though the body and feet don't match. If so, then how does Skyrim manage the body and feet in-game? Anyway, any help would be appreciated in getting these together. I convert a lot of stuff to New Vegas, but Skyrim stuff is very hard to do without getting the bodies together first. That's it! Sorry if this is the wrong section. If it is, then please move it to the appropriate one...
blabba Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 combine the meshes in a 3d program. Nifskope is not capable of welding vertices especially when it's tied to skinning data or other child branches.
yatol Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 why make things simple when you can make them complicated this is what he is talking about here thare's no problem (clipping that's because outfit is for bodychange 2) (nifkope rename nif1, that's a ctd if you forget about that) with an older nif all the bones are there, but there must be some differences, and nif 1 get destroyed download bodyslide open outfitter open nif 1 open nif 2 as reference copy paste what you want into nif1 repeat until done then you open the outfit with the result as reference, and start moving things around (for that part blender or 3dmax is better, more tools)
