Kamen Rider Kuuga Posted July 18, 2015 Author Posted July 18, 2015 For the same reason why Samurai and Super Samurai were shit; they took a show already aimed at a general audience and dumbed it down to target three year olds. That's the mentality that they've been stuck with for years when it comes to localizing Japanese content, and that's why it generally is shit. There's ample chance to make the show both good and have actual toy sales, but the toy sales are all that's important. It's the same in Japan, of course, but they actually do attempt to make the show actually good. It has various degrees of success, but at least they fucking try. Of course, in this context I just want straight up subs of Kamen Rider, not take three of Masked Rider.
