tigek12 Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 Has anyone created one for ease of use/download or would be willing to make one (as in bundling the necessary mods in one big download that would be easy to get working)? I've never been able to get them to work as I'm not great at installing mods+getting all the necessary additional mods.
Varithina Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 Short answer, hell no Slightly more detailed answer; 1 Size of mod, this means hosting as well as upload download bandwidth. 2 Permissions, each mod in the pack would require permission from each of the authors to be included into the pack, which can be on the tedious side to get to say the least. 3 Updates, each time one of the packs mods is updated the entire mod pack needs updating, potentially killing the mod pack due to newly included incompatabilites. 4 Support who the hell has the time to give support for this, the original author? or the pack author? As to installing and downloading them, most mods here clearly state their requirements, most of those requirements state their requirements, just take your time and work your way through them, also use a mod manager, it dose not really matter which, but mod organiser is the one a lot of people use, me being one of them. Don't get me wrong I used nexus mod manager for years, note however it is still in beta mode or was last time I looked at it, and spent time learning its quirks, then switched to mo, and hit its quirks, some of which were me being too organised and doing things my way rather than the way mo wanted them doing
