seth666c Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 please help, i don't know why but my littlegirl race character's face looks like an old woman's http://i.imgur.com/CEv4SBx.jpg
Veladarius Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 It looks like the standard Skyrim textures, they can make anyone look ugly. I use Fair Skin Complexion and get good results.
gvman3670 Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 You'll have to find the proper path to add new textures. If you're using Mod Organizer look in MO/mods to find the installed race and add the textures there (copy and paste).
seth666c Posted July 7, 2015 Author Posted July 7, 2015 well i did manage to change face and body textures but still has big-ish, fish-like head and eyes any idea how i can enable it to use hairpacks? :< was hoping to get at least 2 miles closer to this goal...
seth666c Posted July 8, 2015 Author Posted July 8, 2015 well i installed using MO i would try to manually change textures and meshes but i have no idea which ones to take and replace especially body meshes i don't even know 100% what meshes or textures or body type or race they used for that pic
gvman3670 Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 Go to /ModOrganizer/mods/<name of little girl race mod>/ then follow the texture path until you find the list of .dds files (these are the texture files). In another window have your favorite textures unzipped (like Fairskin, for example) then highlight and copy those .dds files and paste them into the Little Girl Race folder, overwriting and replacing those textures. You can do that with a skeleton and body mesh as well.

seth666c Posted July 8, 2015 Author Posted July 8, 2015 using racemenu and ece but with littlegirl race hardly has any options and still stuck with boring old nord hairs and need to find a decent body mesh/texture
gvman3670 Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 The download the Teen Monli race here on LoversLab. I can confirm that it works with hair and eye packs, plus it has built in body options as well. It works well. That Little Girl race...I installed it once some time ago and uninstalled it (and I think it was because it was so limited). I ended up using SkyKids (also available here on the Lab). It actually works like it should. If you're using the newest RM then uninstall ECE and don't bother with it. They are not compatible at all anymore and ECE is redundant if you're using RM3.
seth666c Posted July 8, 2015 Author Posted July 8, 2015 i think it is too bad that i can't find the actual creator of that asian loli character since i would have like to just ask them simply what race mods they used but since i am out of such luck , i guess i will just do some trial and error with littlegirl race before giving up completely... oh,does teen monli have nude version? it is annoying to use a racemod which doesn't have nudes. (yes, pervert am I) and atm i was trying to see if littlegirl race can result in being the c asian loli as in the pic. and i also have skykids installed because it is a requirement for faye race and another drow race aside from skykids one skykids and rcots seem ugly. i installed skykids and some kids looked like shrunken adults over the age of 40 with big heads as and RCOTS is annoying and kinda in the same category as the skykids but at least skykids also has support for other races. Check this thread for some suggestions: http://www.loverslab.com/topic/49137-i-just-dont-understand-how-people-do-it-character-creation/ the thread is gone...
seth666c Posted July 8, 2015 Author Posted July 8, 2015 ok so i tried teen monli and after i got all the files and installed them was annoying trying to get something good so i had a bright idea and tried loading my nord's presets with monli and then i lowered and spun the eyes shortened the nose and made slimmed the lips a bit and kinda got a younger look (although having a problem since i can't remove this annoying oily skin since i manually installed it ages ago) and went from looking like to (according to how-old.net) not the asian loli i was hoping for but getting closer Edit: i don't have that textures/actors/character/female or whatever directory for some reason
gvman3670 Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 That file tree is there in MO/mods/TeenMonliRace. I know it is. I've replaced the textures in there myself. There are also skeleton and mesh folders, for that matter.

gvman3670 Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 That directory is in the game folder (not in MO) and should be packed in a .bsa file. But it doesn't need to be there. Just normally install a texture set (not to a custom race) and everyone (vanilla races) in the game will have it.

gvman3670 Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 It's hidden in a .bsa file I believe. But there's no reason to hunt that down. Not necessary. Just install a texture set and all vanilla races receive it automatically. EDIT: Yeah, it's in "Skryim - textures.bsa" inside the game's /data/ folder. Your missing texture problem on the Teen Monli race is because you need to open /MO/mods/teen monli/etc./ to get to the textures then add what textures you like (although it does come with its own set). Perhaps your Monli mod is being overwritten. Look in MO's left pane and see if there is a "-" sign next to Monli and if there is find out what's overwriting it....then move things so it's not being overwritten.

Agree. seth666c is also posting about the same issue in another thread as well, no harm in that tho, just sayin' so he can combine all the hints from both threads together ^.^ http://www.loverslab.com/topic/3650-loli-characters/page-55?do=findComment&comment=1237847 Altho not sure seth666c yet sees the issue as officially a missing texture thing, but hopefully with you pointing out the body issue is that as well will help seth (rather than him thinking it's merely being a potentially 'wrongly installed oily-skin specular map').
seth666c Posted July 8, 2015 Author Posted July 8, 2015 well, i didn't know monli required me to overwrite stuff i thought i would just install it and choose from the options from the installer and thought that my head texture is a bit different color than body and body is also shiny so i thought it was from a few weeks ago when i tried to manually install some oily textures for CBBE and about that other thread i was just showing what i managed to do just by loading my character's presets onto loli and some minor tweeks and only mentioned about that problem so as to in a way explain about the body problem well, thank you guys for your help if not for you i would keep saying i am having oily problems for ages xD
