Request help for making my character a standalone follower

Hello everyone !

As I won't be able to play skyrim anymore for a while, I've been trying to make my character a standalone follower so that she can live by herself on your character player's side.

But I have to admit I lack the skill and time, and when I tried to use CK it was such a pain to make it work !!!

I already had some people who volunteered, but the first one didn't answer me back when I got finally all the permissions, and the second good soul that tried to help me out couldn't achieve it because of health issues and IRL problems. ;(

So, is there anybody here with the skill and time, who would make my character a standalone follower ?

Technically she's a Breton but I designed her so that she would be a Succubus. Here is a picture of her (there are plenty others in my flickr) : 16944035780_3252757c09_b.jpgTESV.exe_DX9_20150412_100256 by Thani Derstal, sur Flickr

The only files I have are the saves and the racemenu preset in my mediafire account. If I give you all the mods list + the saves you should be able to recreate her in no time.

I thank you for considering my request ! :)

Hello @dadadacool, I am "teaching" a couple of other modders to create NPCs and followers on this forum.

I did the basics and I will start the "advanced part" (specific body, specific hair, etc.) in a little while.

If you like, I can use your presets/items for the remaining part of the tutorial.

At the end you will get your follower and the other members will learn how to do it.

What do you think?

Here is the other topic with the first steps of the tutorial: Help custom NPC creation with racemenu

This could be a good win-win situation ! Let's do this then ! :) I will give you a message with the link to the preset and mods lists. Thank you very much ^^ !

Hope it works Dada. Sorry that i couldn't help, but as you said, my health and IRL problems are kicking my ass >.<...

Aaw don't worry, the fact that you actually tried to help me was so adorable !  :)) Take care of yourself ;) !

I'm pretty certain that's the point. That's definitely going on my list. I would do this myself, but I don't use RM.

Well, I might have to look into that tutorial then.

When the tutorial will be finished, I will put it in the download section, together with the ESP with this follower.

Another couple of nights of work and it will be done.

P.S. if you have any comment or feedback for the tutorial, please give them.

Sure thing, I know almost nothing about modding other than changing a few parameters or names in the creation kit so it might be fun to learn some of it  :D

The first official version of the tutorial is in the download section. It includes an ESP with the fully working follower.

She is in Solitude Stables. It is written in the tutorial.

In the next version of the tutorial I will add also a Spell to summon her.

My god this character looks amazing, some one do this!

By the way isn't there a way if you type in "spf (any name)" in the console to get the .npc file needed to import the character face into a file in the Skyrim directory?

Anyhow, someone just DO IT! please lol

In the tutorial there is an attached ESP file that gives this character as follower.

It is really similar (not exactly the same but very close.)

SPF is used to save the face (mesh and tint) of the player to a .npc file that can then be used to create a custom face for a NPC.

Well, I'm writing again on this topic because I still need this follower to be achieved.

Thanks to CPU the most of it has been done (Thank you so much CPU ! ). But actually as you can see by comparing the follower in-game and the character on my flickr account, there still lack some details.

First, the nose shape. Second, the warpaint.

The warpaint is by far the biggest issue we had. I couldn't manage to add it, neither CPU. When AyitaNL tried to do it, he/she told me about adding directly the warpaint over the character's skin.

Also, it seems that the follower isn't as curvy as my character. I think it is because the preset I made was with 50 weight, but the actual weight is 100. Plus, I enhanced the breasts, hips and thighs with the "ECE More body sliders" mod. And those changes can't be seen on the follower. In fact,  I don't even know if it is possible to make the original tweaked body as a standalone one :/.

So, question is, does somebody who knows how to add warpaint and skilled with CK is available and willing to finish the job ?

PS : I would try again to do it myself but I'm on another computer and don't have the time, nor the skill to achieve it :(.

Adding the warpaint directly to the body texture is possible and easy. Of course this can be done only for custom bodies, or all NPCs using that body will have the same warpaint.

But for your follower this can be an easy solution.

About the nose, do you know what is the nose you want? I am not a good physiognomist, so for me it is not easy to pick the correct one.
