highshaman Posted July 5, 2015 Posted July 5, 2015 every time I try to download lovers lab defeat or devious devices on my windows 8.1 laptop it formats as a solitaire theme and I cant do anything with it. does anyone have a fix or a converter
karlpaws Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 What are you using to install your mods? NMM or MO? You should only be downloading a zip or rar file, and if you cannot open those you have more problems than you think.
jrg7777 Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 This might be a bit late, but for those to whom this happens, here's what I did to fix it: -right click on the "solitaire" file in your downloads folder and go to properties. Change the default opening program to winrar (or whatever unpacker program you use) -rename the file with a .7z at the end Then it should show up to be added with your mod managers.
Darkworld117 Posted November 6, 2016 Posted November 6, 2016 There is a REALLY EASY FIX. Instal 7zip and right click, then find the 7zip tab and "add to XXX.zip" i think it is. Its next to "compress and email" in the 7zip tab.

Before throwing away your computer, you might throw away Mircosoft Edge and use Chrome(ium) or firefox or literally anything else. It's only that causing trouble.
