Delzaron Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 Hi I met a problem. I dont want to spend lot of time to recreate a small world large as Blackreach, so I wish to copy it... but everytime I try to duplicate it, CK crash... Do you have a trick ?
Guest Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 Copy the mod (probably Skyrim.esm) and give to it a new name. Edit it in TES5Edit, change it from ESM to ESP, start deleting all the items you don't want (this will take long time): quests, other celles, locations, NPCs, more or less everything except the exact location and its items. It is NOT easy but possible. Then open the new mod in CK just once, and save it. Then maybe you want to merge this "area" you created with something you did in another mod. Use TES5Edit to do it (there is a script for this.) Bonne chance.
mybrainhurts Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 Unfortunately, you can't duplicate world spaces. It's a CK bug. Maybe that scheme above will work, who knows?
Guest Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 I did it once but it is a huge amount of work. The problem are: Internal cells duplicate well with this approach, external cells do not (you have to manually edit in TES5Edit the position) Scripts references do not work. The last load & save will regenerate all CK IDs, but the result will be more or less a mess. Some references get lost (by mistake), so not all items get where they want.
