Guest flingingfeces Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 Well like all gamers out there I'm always looking for the best bang for my buck when it comes to purchasing games. I'd like to have a place here where we can all share our great finds on game deals. If you found a deal online from places like Amazon, Steam or Glyde let us know. You can list games for any system or pc it doesn't matter. Right now I'm playing my 3DS a lot and came across Super Street Fighter at Best Buy for 14.99 new on sale. It's usually 29.99 everywhere I look. Steam is also having a great 75% off sale on all Square Enix titles until 3/26 so jump on it. I'd like to have a format for the stuff we find so if you can post it like this please. 3DS- Super Street Fighter 14.99 @ Best Buy Steam- Square Enix titles 75% off through 3/26

Same with Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3 Steam does have some dirt cheap sales though, cant beat the 4.99 deal they did with new vegas but it's best to shop around and look to see who has the best deal when your ready to buy. I should give New Egg a bit of credit too, they are starting to get some deals on pc games as well.

It's probably only $10 on steam now I would imagine. I believe I bought it before ME2 even came out.
Guest flingingfeces Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 WOW Dead Space 2 for 5 and The Orange Box for 7.50? That's awesome! Edit- Look as though those prices have changed. Man that was a steal for DS2.

Man that was a steal for DS2. Most of these were from multiple Christmas sales, in which the price reductions are absolutely awesome. They had Deus Ex Human Revolution for $20 and it was practically brand new. Even Skyrim went on sale for $43.99 and it was released just a month before.
gregathit Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 If you ever liked Dungeon Siege you can pick up all three games and the DS3 expansion pack right now on steam for $10 (part of the square enix sale). Only good for 8 more hours however.
Presto Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 Still waiting on a sale for Skyrim. Bought it for console and told myself I would get the PC version once the CK came out and it was on sale.

LibidoKnievel Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 best bang for the buck is Team Fortress 2 and League of Legends/Heros of Newerth. All three excellent games and completely free. However, LoL/HoN do have very steep learning curves if you are not familiar with the Dota mechanics.

For an EA game in this day and age, I consider that grossly overcharging.
