Guest Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 Don't worry. Your result is enough. There is a problem in the NIF you used for the body (or a wrong body slot.) Check that the skin you used for the body can be used by the race you use for the NPC.
DareDemon666 Posted July 24, 2015 Author Posted July 24, 2015 Body slots all seem to line up correctly. The race for all the parts is set to "NordRace" just like the NPC.
DareDemon666 Posted July 25, 2015 Author Posted July 25, 2015 I am going to be away for the next two weeks so I wont be able to post (probably). Don't expect me to reply to anything until then
DareDemon666 Posted August 9, 2015 Author Posted August 9, 2015 I'm back! and after a lovely 2 weeks holiday I'm ready to crack on with my NPC mod again. If I recall correctly we still haven't solved the case of the 'missing body'. Also if you've updated your guide CPU do let me know, I'll be the first to read it!
Guest Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 Welcome back. No I didn't do any update on this. I have been really busy.
DareDemon666 Posted August 9, 2015 Author Posted August 9, 2015 Thats fair enough, I hope you've had some time to relax too though!
DareDemon666 Posted August 10, 2015 Author Posted August 10, 2015 Ok then, something to look forwards too! If you have any more ideas about the issue I've got with the textures then let me know. I can always google a tutorial if you dont have time to explain it to me.
DareDemon666 Posted August 10, 2015 Author Posted August 10, 2015 Since that's all fixed it's on to the next step of your tutorial, Hurrah!
DareDemon666 Posted August 10, 2015 Author Posted August 10, 2015 Ok my NPC is complete now. I may make a custom armour for it in future but for now everything is in working condition however there is still an issue. In the racemenu pre-set the shape, position and size of the eyes and the size of the iris have been set to my liking but they do not appear in CK or on the NPC anywhere. Also the pre-set has a more distinct smile which also does not seem to have been taken into account. I've tried exporting the preset and importing again (I may have accidentally made changes to the preset after importing at the start) however that didn't change anything. I know some things are simply not possible in skyrim but this is surely not one of them. Any ideas on how to fix this at all?
DareDemon666 Posted August 22, 2015 Author Posted August 22, 2015 Hey CPU not sure if you saw my last post or not but a bit of help with that when you have time would be great. At this point my first custom Follower is almost complete and ready to upload! I couldn't have done any of this without you! I owe you, DareDemon666
Guest Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 The import of the player face does not always give you perfect results. For the smile you can try a trick. But for the eyes there is no easy solution. Export the face of the follower (select and then Ctrl+F4), then grab the generated NIF and edit it (also body slide for a easy manipulation.) Then put the NIF back. Warning because the face texture may need to be updated too, depending on how much you will distort the NIF. About the eyes, there is no easy solution. As far as I know, the position of the eyes is done through a "TRI" file. And I have absolutely no idea how to generate/edit it. There is a tool called "conformulator" but I think works only for hair.
DareDemon666 Posted August 22, 2015 Author Posted August 22, 2015 Ah okay, in that case I will look elsewhere for further help on the matter, thanks though!
