squamousnesss Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 I like the Perkus Maximus mod and what it says it can do, but I use a wineskin to run my Skyrim and I don't think I can run any patchers or do any sort of fancy installation techniques beyond manual, and PM needs a patcher apparently. Are there any mods that do what PM does, but on a smaller and more manageable scale?
bahamut2119 Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 You dont need to run the patcher at all its only recommended for min skyrim installs look at the dl section again he has a prepreped patcher esp for just that.

Oh so it's not some third party thing? I thought there was more to it. Thanks for the info then! EDIT: What about that Java thing?
criswolf09 Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 Java is required to use any Skyproc patcher like Reproccer, ASIS, Patchus Maximus, etc. to generate dynamic patches required for those mods to run perfectly.
bahamut2119 Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 Ignore java and running anything just grab perma-minimumpatch from the optional section here dump it in your data folder run loot and your good to go. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/59849/?tab=2&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fmodfiles%2F%3Fid%3D59849&pUp=1
yatol Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 Ignore java and running anything just grab perma-minimumpatch from the optional section here dump it in your data folder run loot and your good to go. only if the only mod he use is perkus... if he put that at the end of his load order, and he use warmaiden, bye bye warmaiden if he have immersive armor or weapon, npc with those will be too weak etc etc
bahamut2119 Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 Ive already mentioned its meant for a minimal install basicly if you run anything that includes custom armors weapons spells alch ingred potions ect it is advisable to run the patcher yourself.
