Zenik Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 Hey all, I just reinstalled Skyrim a few days back after dealing with the same issue I am today. Just then I didn't know that this issue was being caused by mods and thought it was a corrupt file. :/ My mod setup is based off of the STEP Project, so I am using Mod Organizer w/ Wrye Bash for the bashed patch. I'm running around 650 mods with 400-something plugins merged down. (Cosmetic mods merged down. Hairs, Eyes, Overlays, Weapons, and Armors. A few other minor mods merged as well.) All of the non SexLab mods should be up to date as of Saturday/Sunday. I just went over all of the SexLab mods again today to double check requirements and for updates, so they should be fine. Anyways, as mentioned in the title I am getting CTD's when loading save games with SexLab mods on. I have an idea of whats causing it from skimming my papyrus log, but I'm not sure how to fix it. The suspect mods being Estrus, More Nasty Critters/Nude Creatures, Zaz's animation Pack, Devious Devices, and Captured Dreams. I've collected a bunch of logs & saves that were working w/o the mods and some with the mods to go through, but I honestly don't know what I'm looking at. There are some very obvious errors which seem to be the cause, but I don't know whats causing them. Most of the errors are "Property ___ on script ___ attached to alias ___ cannot be bound because alias ___ is not the right type", and the Warnings are "Property ____ on script ____ attached to ____ cannot be initialized because the script no longer contains that property". Attached are my crashing & working mod lists, load orders, and papyrus logs. The Crashing 0 papyrus log is the one that crashed on CTD. Crashing 1 loaded up, but that happens occasionally. My test process for this was to start a game with LAL, wait for mods to finish initializing and then save in LAL, followed by loading in again so some SexLab mods can update. After that I choose "Camping In The Woods" wait for the starting quests to finish registering, save, and then turn on TGM and set my movement speed to 300. Run through Riverwood all the way to Aela and the crew fighting the troll. Wait for them to finish, talk to Aela, and then save my game there. Occasionally the first or second loads work just fine for some unknown reason. More often than not though any attempt CTD's. Also, another concern I had was regarding some crazy FPS drops that seemed isolated to using custom followers/npc replacers. Basically, if there are too many around me (4+) I get temporary (2-10 seconds) FPS drops when I pan the camera around, and sometimes with these drops my textures pop in and out. Also, I do replace every custom follower's textures & body with the ones I use for my character. Any help is greatly appreciated! Sailing Rebel Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 Crash on load is very common and appears to be the result of using heavily scripted mods. There is no fix that I'm aware of. The workaround is to start a new game or use an early save, then load the problem save from the escape menu. You can use Alternate Start to get into a new game faster. Some people like to keep an old save around just to load from. I prefer to use coc whiterun in the console at the main menu to get into a game quickly. Whatever method you use it will become your standard method for loading saves in future.
Zenik Posted June 17, 2015 Author Posted June 17, 2015 So another game limitation then? Balls. Those errors still worry me, as the reason I noticed when I did is because my game froze. I'm going to try and lighten up my mod load. Just wish I knew which ones were heavily scripted off the top of my head.

Basically, if there are too many around me (4+) I get temporary (2-10 seconds) FPS drops when I pan the camera around, and sometimes with these drops my textures pop in and out. Also, I do replace every custom follower's textures & body with the ones I use for my character. that don't change anything if the textures are 100 mo, and those npc have custom textures patch, with x npc you need x * 100 mo ram replacing their textures with the one you use won't change that, game load the same texture x times, that's all to get back your fps, get rid of the custom textures and make those npc load textures from normal path
Zenik Posted June 17, 2015 Author Posted June 17, 2015 @Yatol: Went looking through my SexLab modlist again for BSA/loose file conflicts and didn't really see anything like that. :/ Glad to know I can ignore the creature messages though. Also, how exactly would you go about directing custom followers to the normal texture path? Is there a tutorial for that anywhere? __________________________________________ As far as thinning out my mod list goes I went all the way down to 120-ish plugins and I still get crashes. Log and order/list attached below. EDIT 1: Also, XPMSE gives me multiple (10+) successful detections for my character when I start a new file. Kinda odd? EDIT 2: Deactivating Captured dreams got rid of 90% of the errors in my log. Deactivating Sanguine's Debauchery to see if that gets rid of the last bit since it affects Zaz. Gonna save a lot of VRAM doing that, thanks. EDIT: In TES5Edit you just remove the entries under Texture set for Body & Hands right? Just wanna make sure I don't screw it up. Lol I'm also not sure how to add that data for the femalehead.nif in nifskope. Would probably be easier to wing if I wasn't down with a cold and could think properly. >_< __________________ There's something terribly wrong with this mod setup. Is it possible for some of my SexLab mods to be corrupt? Still have to test a very barebones load order and see if it crashes. So far every load order I've tried with SexLab mods has resulted in crashes. EDIT: I think most of those item related cannot find files was due to me improperly merging plugins. I used the copy general asset (or w/e) function and deleted the files since I thought it was just backing up files. Not having the merged plugin point towards them. Will have to test tomorrow.
