Does Skyrim support downloading player characters?

In theory yes, you could download my save game with all the perks skills and gear I have, but it may or may not even load depending on my mod list and such.

If however you want to try playing around with such things there are numerous save games available on nexus, and I am pretty sure some at least are available here as well.

Same goes with my racemenu/ece pre-sets, you can download that as well, there are threads for it here on ll, but again how close to the ones posted by the player will depend on texture sets, body type, installed hair mods and other such mods that affect the characters looks.

I see, thank you for the information you two. :)

I never understood the point of dowloading savegames. However I do see a point in downloading new Racemenu presets, that way you get the look of someone else character, if you got the needed support mods.

Mostly I would say it's for people who for whatever reason have had their save games killed or rendered unplayable, not wanting to spend the time getting back to lv-xx again.  Or just want to try out a high level character, though many of them have used the alchemy/smithing skills to level up which can make them seriously weak for their level, especially if they perked them as well.

For example when I first started I got to about lv45ish, this was before the allowed the legendary tag on skills, so max level was about 68 I think, the first official patch killed all my save games with the fast travel bug, non would load at all, so I ended up restarting the game from lv 1.

The second official patch which had the summoned weapon bug, for some reason did the same thing not one of the saves would load after it, so it was start again, again I was about lv45ish at the time, I am sure you can guess how annoying that was.

Even now with over 1.4k hours in skyrim I still have not finished the game for various reasons.
