joethelion Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 hi can anyone just lump some packages together that work with each other and are easy to install ive used nexus and manager but obviously im here cause i want the more `involved` mods idealy id like nudity , s&m `punishment after fight and stealth lol prostitution and sex toys and clothes i hope no one finds this wrong at all (took weeks to actually write on here my problem is the installing of stuff id like a step by step instalation for the above kinda package anything goes
RitualClarity Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 Nope. You will have to become more "involved" and more "tech savy" to implement these mods. If it was possible it would have already been done. The issue is permissions and lack of it. Then the second issue is updating the "mega pack" each time a patch or update has been done. It would be paramount to re-downloading your actual game each time one small package was updated... Finally NMM will choke on such a large mod package. One of customized game folders was over 30 gigs of mods installed.. . (almost three times the size of the game itself )
joethelion Posted June 14, 2015 Author Posted June 14, 2015 err thanks for ... the input at least .... i ran 62 mods on nmm and in general they were ok fnis etc esrus all worked well . the problem is finding out why when they dont work
Nisenzi Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 Ohohoh you will have a lot of fun if you want these mods to work properly after you put dozen of them at once in skyrim. ( by "fun" i mean a lot of installing/reinstaling, sometimes maybe even whole game just because you installed 15 mods at once and you dont know which one fcks up your game )

Until then just post the issue and the load order here for others to try to help. Believe it or not many here has had the same problems as you have and have learned and gained experiences. Most are willing to help someone and their load order. (one of the easiest of the tech support questions next to basic mod installation questions:) Sorry if I seem as If I came across harsh. I hadn't realized it until reading it again after your post. It wasn't my intention. I was just tring to be quick and to the point why Your Compilation isn't working. Now someone did have one for Sexout mods awhile back.. It was a constant headache for the mod distributor (not really an owner correct? since he didn't create those mods.. whatever ). Eventually he stopped and nobody has come up to try it again. Skyrim is even more difficult and most of the mods are changing too fast to properly keep up provided we could distribute and manage them in a compilation. You run into trouble... feel free to post here. any questions you need to learn to go further. You will get help. Ohohoh you will have a lot of fun if you want these mods to work properly after you put dozen of them at once in skyrim. ( by "fun" i mean a lot of installing/reinstaling, sometimes maybe even whole game just because you installed 15 mods at once and you dont know which one fcks up your game ) It does get easier as you start to learn about modding. I rarely have problems with Skyirm and conflicts now. Even less with Fallout 3 and Fallout Nv. I can check them through MO first (which I Use) or if more deep review (FNVedit).. . knock most of the mods (15 according to the post above) out of the question and then post here the rest for advise if needed. Or go through and just unselect/uninstall all of those three and activate them one at a time or change the position. So many easy ways to resolve the conflicts. Oh and for 1.35 I did have a personal compilation of the main sexlab mods I wanted and it worked just fine .. so there.. Try following this tutorial http://www.loverslab.com/topic/47360-anatriaxs-wonderful-world-of-skyrim/ Lots of work and not what you asked for but it is very well detailed and She is pretty responsive to questions. (currently playing another game but still takes time out to post here on LL). Lots of what is in my game is what she has done.. with a few interesting changes that I might have to look into after playing Mass Effect again for awhile.
teitogun Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 I'm sorry but how tech savvy could you possibly need to be? All you need to get started are three mods - FNIS, sexlab framework and sexlab match maker. All are just plug into your mod manager kind of mods. Heck, you don't even need a mod manager to install these mods, just drag and drop them into your data folder. Before starting a thread like this, try to read up on the stickies and mod descriptions, and do a search about any questions you may have. Try out a few of the recommended mods, and then if you run into trouble, specify what it is. Look, not being tech savvy is not an excuse for laziness. I'm trying to be as nice to you as possible, but to be frank, starting a thread which basically states "Hey! Look at me, I'm so special I can't even be bothered to do very basic tasks", won't leave a positive impression of you on the forums.
joethelion Posted June 15, 2015 Author Posted June 15, 2015 ok i get the picture i thank you for the useful info and will try to put a few in one at a time . if thats "trying to be as nice as possible " you must be a real pain in the arse when your upset
ZigNewton Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 Since you only have around 60~something mods at the moment, I would recommend switching to Mod Organizer instead of NMM to save long term headaches. You'll also learn your way around modding structures more easily since you aren't messing up your main install every time you install/overwrite/remove mods. You can screw up without real consequence, and deal with problems and load orders more easily since it tells you exactly what is "overwriting" what. The initial switch only gets more annoying the more mods you pile up on (I had like 200+), but it is absolutely worth it. I wasn't tech savvy either, and you couldn't pay me to ever use NMM again.

How could ritualclarity actually dare to reply in this manner since you, dear newby: - obviously haven't had any education in politeness at all - didn't contribute to this community in any way except for making demands - are not even in the slightest interested in putting your time into the search function - try to avoid any trouble while trying to understand how mods work - seem to have absolutely no interest in reading the hundreds and thousands of pages of guides and experience reports of the other members of this board who had exactly the same problems There are modders around here who created content that allow Skyrim to actually work at all - wihtout getting a single penny for their effort. Try to play Skyrim without any mod. And then come back here and ask those people, who put thousands of hours of their lifetime into making the game playable for a prat like you, to do and reply to your bidding. Hope you use that gray matter between your ears before replying. Hope that none of the above mentioned modders decides that you are the one drop that makes the barrel of patience overflowing.

You are right, no need to be insulting towards him though. He is guilty only of ignorance. He will either learn that, or leave, what ritualclarity and teitogun have said is all he needs to know.
Swiftstep Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 You don't just ignore the dog taking a dump in the house. That's doing nobody any good.

LOL.. seriously, what you wasn't isn't available for the reasons listed above. Anyone that has tried to do so later regretted it and had constant problems with it until they quit. This community is about helping you help yourself. If you aren't willing to help yourself and learn some basic installation techniques and problem solving tricks then you are basically out of luck in the modding area. This community has taken individuals with zero skills and got them up and running many mods and having a time of their lives.. It however is competently up to you if you want to put in that investment. I know of no modding community, Nexus included, that has a one button download mod fix. If you do find one feel free to prove me wrong and post it here. I as well as others would love to check it out as well.
