Ok. I'm having some really strange texture pathing problems.

I've tried reinstalling all of my texture packs and BSA's thinking it might be a problem with the actual textures, but it's apparently a problem with the pathing.

Any ideas?

EDIT: I did just notice one problem, but I don't think that's causing my issue. I have NevadaSkies - Ultimate DLC Edition, instead of TTW Edition.

I don't think too many mods is my problem. If you look down through my load order, a lot of plugins have been merged to keep me at, or around, 100 .esp files. From what I understand, Fallout NV doesn't start acting funky until you get around 140, so I'm well under that.

FalloutNV doesn't start acting funky for most people until you get to 140. The limit is actually different for different people, probably because of hardware, although we haven't yet been able to figure out exactly what it is that causes the problem. Have you tried deactivating any mods and seeing if the problem persists?

I have. I'm running TTW, and read on their forums to do a minimal install with TTW, so I'm reinstalling a bunch of mods (Thank god for MO), and doing a minimal install with just lighting, weather, and texture mods. (and Project Nevada, of course. I can't live without that one, HAH!)

I'm also taking the time to merge all of my armors into as few .esp's as possible. I may even combine the resources into a .bsa. Not sure.

My hardware shouldn't be a major issue. I'm running an AMD FX-8120 (OCed to 4.3ghz), 8gb DDR-3 RAM, GTX 960 4gb, and everything is on an SSD.

FNV is so bad at multi-threading that it actually runs worse the more cores you have. Go into your fallout.ini file in My Documents and add "inumHWThreads=2" to it and see if anything changes. If it doesn't, change the 2 to a 1 and try again.

I think I've got everything solved. I think the conflict was in one of the added quest mods, or Lings Pretty things. I've got the core of stuff I MUST have installed, so I'm going to go through testing things today.

I first noticed the bug when I saw eyeballs on the rug in Moriarty's. I chalked it up to "heh that's weird" and went on. Then I started noticing it other places and here we are. LOL

Well, I'm not 100% sure what the problem was, but it's solved now. I switched methods of Archive Invalidation, and optimized with Ordenador by pointing to single mod folders, instead of the overall data folder through MO. I re-installed all the same mods the exact same way, and no issues yet.

I'm personally thinking the culprit was the method of Archive Invalidation that I was using.
