In concept, it lets you swap over to controlling and/or leveling other NPC's as if they were you, while your player follows along behind like a follower. I have NO IDEA how this will interact with Sexlab and Devious Devices, but you can bet your bottom I'm gonna find out. I hope this works, because it's one thing to bind yourself up in Devious Devices, then be unable to get around or do anything... but what if you could swap over to be your follower, bind up your character nice and tight, then go adventuring with them trailing along behind you like a sex toy? Switch back to them at any time... This sounds like there could be some hilarious and sexy hijiinx between Sexlab and Devious Devices, but first I'mma make sure it works. I'll keep you all posted. Given I've managed to make my fursona in Skyrim, this will be extra fun for me. Time to play as J'zargo, Kharjo, and Derkeethus. Possibly Lydia, or anyone else that strikes my fancy. TALLY HO!

Mod seems to be so outdated that the new racemenu completely fucks it in the ass. I can't actually get any of the stuff to WORK. I use 'control ally' and Derkeethus just turns into me. Sorry to get your hopes up folks (and feel FREE to try it yourself) but the mod is... shall we say... less than functional in today's installs. Poo.

You guys wanted more testing? I did another test. No... no. This is tremendously incompatible. The problem for me is not that it crashes. No, I get stuck in an infinite loop where it's trying to turn my character into Kharjo this time. You see, I turned on 'debug mode', which gets rid of the loading screen so you can watch the scripts run. It uses 'player.sexchange', then it opens the race menu with 'showracemenu', then I can see the cursor in the menu start to flit about on its own, trying to make changes... endlessly cycling through the menu looking for options that aren't -there- in this version of racemenu, repeatedly go into the skin color menu over and over again without making changes. Maybe it's because I have SPERG. Maybe it's because I use racemenu. At least with my mod configuration, this is never going to work. Besides, having the dragonborn follow along was the POINT of the mod for me. How can they do things to my character in kinky ways if I vanish when I control them? Oh well, mod was a lovely thought, but it's several years out of date.

Teruke Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 IF Alternate actors would be updated to work with RM, you could actually end up playing both female and male characters on the same SAVE... more so you could be playing 2 or more of YOUR OWN characters on the SAME SAVE if you also use familiar faces. Wouldn't that be the ultimate role play experience for Skyrim?
fregi2 Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 Alternate Actors is working but I would not recommend using it for a casual playthrough! The mod is quite buggy sometimes and more like a hit and miss type of thing! On the other hand its great for people who create videos! ... Just to get that out there.
