Steam sale on Fallout Products this weekend!

Don't know if anyone has seen it, but I was able to get all the NV expansions for about $13 earlier today. There's a sale on Steam all weekend, and a pre-sale for FO4 if that's your thing.

Just thought I'd drop a line. :)

If you want a quality game, don't pre-order. Read that article. Pre-orders basically force game companies to push the game out faster to make the masses happy.

I know the post is about a Steam sale, but I noticed that Fallout 4 is available for pre-order on Steam, as well.

Just providing some insight. We all bitch about bugs in Bethesda games, yet a lot of us end up pre-ordering them. Forcing them to push it out faster. I'd like the need for as few Unofficial Patches as possible.

I don't get what's so bad about pre-ordering.  The author of that article looks like he's just spouting off opinion with nothing but anecdotal evidence to back it up.

pre-ordering them. Forcing (publishers) to push it out faster.

Source for a correlation and causation between the two?

I'll be pre-ordering it...about two days before launch.

I'm pretty sure that type of pre-order won't do any harm. It's more the people that pre-order before the official release date is announced, because at that point the release day is somewhat up in the air.
