[Papyrus] How to run a console command from Papyrus?

I am looking for suggestions about how o run a console command from Papyrus... in particular, I need to run 'sexchange' as part of my Gender change/Bimbo quest in Hormones.

 

I tried the MiscUtil.ExecuteBat() function in PapyrusUtil. 

It does find my bat file with the sexchange command in it but it doesn't seem to execute it.

The change happens only when I run the command manually.

 

Right now, I am forced to trigger 'showracemenu' and show a popup message box asking people to manually select the sex of the character in the menu or to run 'sexchange' in the console themselves.

 

it's not a deal breaker as a workaround but I was hoping for something slightly more immersive
