Outfit studio - preset doesn't load

Hi! Whenever I try to load any preset from bodyside's preset folder, by choosing use an existing sliding set, into outfit studio, nothing happens. Nothing changes and nothing appears whatsoever. However it works when I load a preset by "use a template".

 

What can I do? Thank you in advance!

 

P.S. I have the latest version of Outfit Studio and Bodyslide

Are you trying to load a preset file from the SliderPresets folder directly into Outfit Studio?

That doesn't really work, you have to use "Load Project" or "Load Reference" and select the XML from the SliderSETS (not presets) folder that contains the body.

 

Then use "Slider -> Load Slider Preset".

I have an ALSL body that I want to convert an armor to. But when I, as you said, load slidersets and then try to choose the sliderpresets, there are oftentimes no options to choose from, and never is there an option to choose the ALSL body.

You can't load presets directly because then Outfit Studio wouldn't know what body or outfit to load the preset on.

 

I think you're confused by how doing BodySlide conversions with Outfit Studio works - instead of loading the outfit and converting it directly to your preset, what you should do is load your outfit, convert it to the default CBBE base shape by using conversion references for for example "UNP -> CBBE".

 

When it has a CBBE shape, you load the "CBBE Body" template and conform all of the BodySlide sliders to your outfit and save the project.

Only later on, you will use your conversion in the BodySlide part of the program and apply your preset there - not directly through OS.

 

The tutorials linked on the Nexus mod page of BodySlide might help you. You will need the "Anything to CBBE" and then the "CBBE to CBBE BodySlide" tutorials. If I'm correct, the ALSL body is a preset for the CBBE body which you can apply to any of your BodySlide conversions.
