Disposable55645 Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 It's been some time but I apparently borked something in my games: almost every single enemy turns friendly as soon as I hit them. It happen with new games as well so it's not a problem with my save game. Trouble is: I spent so much time toying with mods in non-combat environment that I can't figure out which one is causing that problem. Anyone ever experienced this ? Any idea what could be the cause ? Failing that, any suggestion how to find out what the problem is ?
Blackness blackness is... Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 congratz on being the biggest lover not a fighter person. i wish this happened in my game
FinalCloud Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 Tbh as that sounds pretty damn messed up, other than reinstalling Skyrim and reinstalling your mods. The best bet is to logically think about what mods might cause this. When did you first notice it and 1 by 1 remove mods that MIGHT be the cause until the problem goes. Also (if you havent already) confirm if it still occurs on a clean save.
Gameplayer Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 I have gotten a problem like this from SD+ I don't know if it is still an issue but hey mod is in beta so I decided to use it anyway so its my problem if it happens again. Though I believe this issue can pretty much happen in basically any mod that causes a Player to shift factions. Its an issue if for say a script that is supposed to fire off to change you back to your normal faction fails or perhaps wasn't even made. Only thing I can say really is we take a risk with mods like these and its on us to ensure that our game is in as good a condition as it can be. IE Memory Fix through SKSE, not enabled by default ENB Boost, a bit of a hassle to actually get working can provide outstanding gains if you've got 8 or more gigs of memory even for those of us on 1 G of VRAM. One Tweak, a nice SKSE plug that deals with Alt Tab issue and also forces higher priority in the system task manager. That's just some of the stuff you can do to have a more stable game.
nooblet123 Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 You can get this bug like 1 time out of 100, when you're especially "lucky".
Disposable55645 Posted May 15, 2015 Author Posted May 15, 2015 Thanks all for the answer, even if, apparently, nobody has a solution. Anyone know a quick and easy way to reset The whole Skyrim to default without reinstalling ? I'll do if I must, though.
