chajapa Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 I found a Serana appearance mod I really like, but it apparently changes her weight to 0 To the best of my knowledge, Serana's default weight is 20. So when I install this mod there is a small neck gap. If I go to console and: snpcw 0 disable enable The neck seam goes away, neck-to-body blending appears to be very good and everything would be fine EXCEPT.... I don't know what problems I might be introducing by changing an NPC's weight. I believe the weight is baked into the save, so... what if I wanted to change it back later? Another appearance mod wants to set her weight at 100. Another has the option when installing of leaving her default weight or setting it to 100. A couple of other ones I've looked at change her RACE! Why? Her default, I believe, is simply NordRace One changes it to NordRaceVampire... another changes it to ImperialRaceVampire... Would those race changes affect aggression when I walk through a town with her? I'm assuming they wouldn't have any affect on her voice as she's got her own voice files.... right? I just played through Amorous Adventures (just, flat out awesome) ... the Dawnguard part. And I would LOVE to have a beautiful Serana, but I don't want to screw up the entire rest of the play through in trying to change her looks. Advice?
Dreamweaver Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 I've played through Dawnguard a few times, and I've used a few different Serana replacers without any issues. I've used Seranaholic, Seductress Serana and BVFE Serana and Family. I've never had any problems with aggression or her being treated as an enemy by NPCs who wouldn't do so normally. I have once needed to do the set weight, disable, enable thing (with Seductress Serana, I think) but for the rest of that game she looked as she should without problems. The only thing I can't comment on is what happens if you convince her to cure herself, as I never do that. I like her as a vampire.

Her default, I believe, is simply NordRace One changes it to NordRaceVampire... another changes it to ImperialRaceVampire... because some warpaints (or something else) are only available to imperials, so if you want it on the npc, you have to edit his race, or edit the warpaints
