Nachtschatten3k Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 Hi guys! i have a strange problem and hope someone can help me. Yesterday my skyrim crashed, so i reinstalled it and all my mods. Now i have the problem that some mods dont affect my Character. for example, all npc have a nudesuit, but my pc still wears underwear. i have the same problem with some "animations", like the position of the dager. the npc wear it on the back but the pc on the side. i spend 6 hours to find a solution but nothing worked, so i hope someone of u can help me.
bluedefeat Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 I cannot currently be of much help, nor am I familiar with the issue but a good place to start is to post your load order.
Dreamweaver Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 Yeah, a custom race is the only thing I can think of that would result in different textures for the PC and NPCs. If you're using one, make sure whichever textures you have installed for everyone else are also installed in your custom race's folder structure, overwriting the ones that are in there. The animations could be either skeleton - again, if using a custom race be sure that the skeleton you have installed is in the race's folder structure - or it could be PCEA (PC Exclusive Animation path) if you use that. Or it could be that you need to set your PC's weapon placements in RaceMenu - which you need to do if you're using the more recent versions of the XPMSE skeleton.
Nachtschatten3k Posted April 17, 2015 Author Posted April 17, 2015 hi! thank you all for your answers. yes im using a custom race, but i used it before to, so i dont understand why it doesnt work now but i will check if the mods are installed in the customrace folder. i cant post my loadorder now, cause i deinstalled all mods at the moment and tried to fix the issure. i will try your suggestions and tell you if it worked.
myuhinny Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 Most custom races have their own folders and skeletons you have to add the skeleton and other things to their folder because when you install mods they will not always work with custom races without manually adding those files to your custom races folder.
