Youwish1 Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Soooo my HDD finally broke after 6 years of serving me with skyrim. I had actually planned to backup my entire HDD with a 2tb external on the way..but alas..she didn't make it. Over 1000 mods deleted...lucky for me my anime and music were crammed into my already full backup drives. Still my other drives aren't working since I had to delete core files on them for space. So if anybody wants to help a brother out can anybody upload a couple things for me? Ks hairdos 400 Cutie pose 2.0 Kinoko pose White shark robes Blood of the divines Asian doll face CBBE & UNP Girl of innocence Pretty face Sophia original face Can't think of any other rare mods at the moment but if you guys can upload any of these for me I would greatly appreciate it! Posted from phone!. THANK YOU~
dobmc Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Based on the amount of HDD failures I've seen so far, I really should back-up my data while I still can. So much time and effort will be wasted. But I know I'll never do it, and regret it immediately when it happens. Just posting links. KS hairdo's are uploaded semi-frequently on the authors site. But if you can't find one you can always ask. Kalilies' Shocky's Cutie pose v0.2 Kinoko pose White Shark Robes (UNPBO) you can search on Google easily for other body-types. Actually, you can just Google majority of what you listed. I'll just wait until you update the list.
Youwish1 Posted April 16, 2015 Author Posted April 16, 2015 Hey donmc thanks for the links!. YES! Backup everything on your HDD, granted mine was 6 years old..but you never know when this shit can happen and there really is no reason you shouldn't. I was going to buuuut as you know the transplant didn't make it in time ;~;
stalfos81 Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Mine failed after 3 years (manufactured March 2012- HDD failure March 2015) Just replaced it. So as soon as I can afford to. Get an external disk for backup
ousnius Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 Have this WD Black 1 TB for 4 years now I think (and recently + SSD). Still working just fine so far. Only stuff I currently have on it is some Skyrim things and music, though.
shadowlord445 Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 Don't feel alone, my motherboard fuckin' died on me, and I had to buy some upgrades, including an external backup.

Youwish1 Posted April 21, 2015 Author Posted April 21, 2015 Hey guys just got my new HDD and am setting everything up!, can somebody please remind me what sword i was using in this screenshot?.
Rayblue Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 I've seen hard drives fail moreso when in hibernate because I have this client who had their Acer PCs set to hibernate after work, and only three years later the hard drives started to become corrupted to the point of no recovery. This even though the work PCs were using OEM Plus80 Bronze PSUs. Personally I don't like putting my PC on 24/7, so I shut it down after 2 in the morning. Also, make it a habit to check the drives with HDTune or Crystal Disk Info, especially those using SSDs. And back up your MO profiles and settings.
shadowlord445 Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 It was an Asus p8x68, not in stock on Newegg, and the only new one on Amazon is like 400 bucks, so I got a new Asus z97 Pro gamer and an I5 4690k
